Remarks
College is very good and has a good reputation. All the faculties are also very popular and knowledgeable. Timings can be an issue because they are not really flexible. And with compulsory 75% attendance it becomes really tough.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very diverse as it covers a lot of subjects over the six semesters. We have semester exams as well as mid exams in between which are also added in the final marks. The course is updates every few years.
Placement Experience
Placement cell of my college is very active with great deals from big companies.Companies like ITC, Deloitte, PWC, Futures First, OYO, JP Morgan.Internships are not provided explicitly but then one month of internship is compulsory in the 3rd year.
College Events
From the day u enter in college everyday something or the other is happening. With more than 10 departments every department has their own event with the full college fest like Xavotsav. Along with departments there are various societies holding their own events. The events are very diversified including social fests, knowledge fests, cultural ones.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is not as cheap as Government sponsored colleges. The fee structure is a bit costly. It is feasible for middle class families. The morning batches are subsidised so those are cheaper compared to evening batches.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships for Christians and some minorities are there. I am not really sure of other facilities as there are no proper scholarships for our department specially if u are a general category person.
Campus Life
Extra curricular as well as labs and sports are very good at our college. With a lot of extracurricular activities around the year everyone is quite occupied. We have a basketball court too. And as well as a small games room type.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is very strong and they even host some events for the college which are open for all. They are very helpful and are generally included in the big events organized by our college. The association is open to all ex students and also gives them some privileges.
Admission
Apply after your 12 board results. After a week or so the college publishes the 1st list. If your admission number is there on the list u are selected and u have to go and pay the amount on your assigned day.
Faculty
They are quite experienced in their respective fields. Some of them have written books which are followed all over the state. They are friendly and also give extra time before or after assigned classes for solving doubts.
