I gave IIT JEE but could not qualify. And then BITS test, scored 291 marks. I gave VITEEE and got all india rank 3495 .I selected VIT becaus it is a premier institute for engineering and I could select any specialization for B.Tech because of good rank.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is Advanced and is changed almost every year to comply with latest industrial needs and the faculties are nice,experienced and can give their best with the help of institute's great planning controls providing students a great deal of flexibility in academics.
Internships Opportunities
One can apply and get internship in top companies because of the VIT brand name and my experience in HP was great. General stipend can go even more than Rs.10000. Besides, VIT also helps conduct on-campus internship offers.
Placement Experience
There are around 5000 students graduating every year and up for placements. Over 200 companies are visiting this college every year to facilitate on-campus placements. Generally almost everyone who opts placement gets a job through VIT itself. A good number of students are selected from top companies giving high salaries.
College Events
Yearly there two festivals organized in VIT which are cultural fest named Riviera and a technical fest named Gravitas generally in February and september respectively. These are grand events and get sponsorship from top companies which could combine for millions. The Fests continue for 3 days.
Alumni/Alumna
VIT has an extensive network of Alumni covering both 21st and 20th century and all over the world, many of them holding great positions and profiles around the world and participating in meetings or causes held by the university.
Exam Structure
Examinations are held throughout the semester in the form of Quizzes, continuous assessment exams and semester final exams. All of them contribute to the GPA and so it becomes important to perform well in all specially since there is a minimum attendence
