Remarks
Apart from few things, College is great when it comes to any aspect be it curricular or extra curricular. Some faculties practice partiality towards students from thier state, but this is common in India, so I would not make it peculiar to this university.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is apt for learning. I fell a little more emphasis should be given to practical knowledge rather than theoritical knowledge. Exam pattern is : 2 midterms for each subject, 1 end term for each subject and 3 assignments for each subjects to be submitted during the semester. These 3 assignments includes quizes
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are great as heard. Now going to the fourth year. So not experienced yet. Gonna experience it myself now. Internship opportunities are ample. A number of great comapnies visited and recruited the best.
College Events
A fest during each academic year. First is gravitas. This is the technical fest. A huge number of technical events like workshops, hackathon are organized Second one is riviera. This is the cultural fest. This is one of the best throughout india.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Tuition fee is cheaper when comapred to Other colleges and manageable and worth it. Great exposure and quality of education But hostel and mess is extremely expensive. Quality is not worth the price we pay for hostel and mess.
Fees and Financial Aid
The university offered scholarships to students based on their ranks in the ViTeee entrance exams. This scholarship amount is given to students in the bank account registered with the university every year.
Campus Life
Physical education, labs and extracurricular activities facilities are up to the mark. Labs are air conditioned. Even virtualized access to labs is provided to the students. Library is one of the best in India. All major sports facilities are available.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is Below Average. Mess food is very bad. Excess of oil is a common thing in the food. Apart from this, some blocks are great ( like D) whereas others are average(like J). But they charge the same from both.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students and alumni network is strong. The university every year organizes alumni meets where the chancellor himself visits all major countries like US to meet the students who graduated from vit in the past years.
Admission
Get a good rank in the VITEEE entrance exam. It is a common entrance test. Attended the counselling of the slot received. The slot received is on the basis of the rank scored in the VItEee examination.
Faculty
Quite knowledgable and student friendly except a few ofcourse. Some teachers are practicing faivoritism. Apart from these few teachers, others are great in terms of deliveriance of knowledge, giving extra effort etc.
