Mnnit Allahabad inside out from students perspective

Mnnit is one of the reputed college of india.it is one of the oldest in india. Lacks behind due to infrastructure but believe me in following years that problem will not be there due to extensive projects taken up.

Course curriculum is little outdated.college is working on that to meet the pace of requirements by the industry. Exam structure is basically what is followed in major govt engineering colleges of India like IIT. A year broken into 2 semester. Each semester has mid sem-20 marks End sem- 60 marks and 20 marks teacher assessment.

Excellent at par with top colleges. Jobs are mainly for software industry if price tag is concerned. Otherwise consulting firms and core companies visit college too. Yes college provides internships. Less opportunities but still way more than other colleges

There is event related to every aspect. Literary, cultural , entrepreneurship, technical, sports, athletics You name it we have it. Events are the things that keeps college life interesting for Students.

Fee structure is dependent on the annual income of parents. And also on the caste reservation. For general Above 5 lacs-70k per sem 1-5lacs 3k per sem <1lac- 10 k per sem 10k per sem for reservation students.

I have not availed any scholarship yet But there is fat big up scholarship for best performers of each branch each year, there is for economic weak children also, there is based on jee mains rank also and there is for category students among various others.

Extra curricular activities are vast and good. Multiple sports to be followed, gym , cultural and technical clubs.there are so much to look forward to apart from studies and divert the mind. They benefit students vastly.

Infrastructure is bad. Highly outdated. But basic maintenance services are there. Infrastructure is improving with lot of projects undertaken to improve infrastructure. Wait for 3-4 years and you would not complain.

Extremely extensive nd helpful. One of the best alumni networks in the country.you name the company and we have our alumni at top posts. Over the years alumini has been backbone of the college in various activities.

Given JEE mains 2016 exam. Including mains and 12 boards percentage based on the criteria decided by jee committee Jee rank was published. Got admission based on jee mains rank through josaa counseling.

Need of young and dynamic teachers is what the institution requires right now. Professor are good but there is age difference and students deal with assistants more rather than teachers. Guidance is not proper.
