The genuine opinion about my college

I choose this course because i wanted know more about business and environment around it. Also by studying the course we can understand the way of commerce in our society by doing activities in this commercial environment can make us successful this all are the reasons that i taken Bcom. The areas where I prefer to have some change is the teaching methods education must be given through both theories and practicals so it will be good if we give some more importance to practical on our curriculum. The frequency and timing of exams is not that much pleasing to me because the students are forced to attend the exam without proper teaching because of the time shortage it will be useful to the students if the authority changes frequency of the exams and make the gap bit longer between to exams. So students could get proper time to complete their portions and. Score good marks in the exam

In our College they admit students through the allotment process. So we don't have to pay fees on every semester so we pay some amount when the admission process starts and there is some amount for 1 year around 3000rs. The college also provide some financial help to the socially backward class students.

My overall experience with campus life is some what average because i joined in a college where no entertainment programs are present. Only teaching is happening in that college. The main festivals are onam and Christmas on September and December and we will get 10 days leave on this occasions. The library in the college is good because there is some variety of books that we can refer and journals are available in different languages. The facilities and technological provisions within the classroom is average . Sports and extracurricular activities are also provided within the college but their is no proper funding on that progarms. There are many clubs in the college like nature club , idea gora etc which make drastic change in the life of a student because it make the students more engaging and active and it could help in our future and our decision making.

I got admitted in st Thomas college ranny for bcom . I choose this college over other college because of the easiness of travelling because the college was near to my home and education provides by the college is also good. I had got admitted to the college through the allotment process of the government. There was no exams for my admission process.

Our faculty is bcom (commerce and reasearch) and in our class around 50 students are present and more are girls than boys. Faculty behaviour to slthe students is some what ok not that much pleasing for the students. I like my faculty most because i don't got that much knowledge about other faculties.The faculty i don't like is tourism because I don't that have any use in future.

No i hadn't faced any any discussion, interview or written test for the admission. I just got admitted to the college by the allotment process on the basis mark scored in the school and this allotment process is done by the government.

The nightlife around your college is boring because no one is interested in night hangouts and other programs. All like to be present in their own respective homes . My favourite hangout spot is cafeteria because it very enjoyable when we have something to eat and some one to speak at the same time. This both are available in the cafeteria. Gym, library public spots around the college are also good hostel life not that much pleasing. Locality around is not that safe to roam around at night because because of some life threatening resons behind it.
