Campus Life
SIT encourages student participation in various clubs and forums.The other curricular activities was conducted twice in a week. The name of two of the functions are spardha and annual function also. Our farewell party was also very good.

Faculty
Most faculty members hold advanced to decrease like MTech or PhD in their respective fees, ensuring a strong academic foundation. I personally like Dikshith Sir as he teaches us data structure subject. he is very very friendly to us, and he helps us in any situation. Term exams, timelines and difficulty level timelines exams at SITR conducted as per the schedule set by the Vishveshwarayya technology University
Night Life
There are some small cafes near our college campus and they so a good food. They're a good place to hang out with friends and there is a falls near our campus called adyar falls and there is a view point which gives a very good view, and the locality is not very safe to room at night, especially for girls.
