- Infrastructure of the college is one of its positive aspects,
- Lots of social activities such as events and different clubs make it better than other gov college of Madhya Pradesh
- Greenery and sports facilities and also a stocked library.
Dislikes
- Crowd in this college not very good , people here didn't even care about studies and placement
- 75 percent attendance is compulsory, it's kinda problematic if u have other goals in life
- Coding environment is not that great, if you want to pursue competitive programming then this is not the college you are looking for.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum of my course is one of the positive things in this college. It's a new curriculum with subjects related to CSE ,you do not have to study physics,chemistry . Coding is taught from the first class and it's not too much of a weight on mind. College also provide various courses on new technologies such as AI, IOT, etc.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are provided but you should be good enough to grab them. Highest stipend offered was 40000 a month and off campus was 120000 a month in Google focus as a developing college its tries more to invite more companies.
Placement Experience
Placement is good enough if you have skills, you can bag package upto 10 lacs onwards campus, faculty also helps you to get placement off campus. And since it's a developing college you can expect more in future
Fees and Financial Aid
Madhav Institute of technology and science is a semi-aided college, it's not a 'fully government' college so the fees is pretty high. I paid 167000 including tuition fees, admission fee,etc for first sem and for the rest sems it would be 118000.Many scholarships are available on the basis of family income and caste system and to get those u have to maintain 8.5 cgpa in first sem.
Campus Life
There is no techfest till now but tlsi mahotsav is the name of the annual fest that happens on mid November ,there are many sports Events though throughout the year and many clubs organises their workshops so social life is fun here.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels also have good infrastructure it have all 4 sharing rooms with a different place to study attached to it. Nice washroom with cleaning done once a week. Mess food is also mid not that bad actually also there is student body in mess which can change the menu with mess cordinator. For people living in rented places it's cheaper than hostel but they are far from campus.
Admission
According to my JEE mains ranks i had a option to opt Computer Engineering in TIET Patiala or Electronic and Telecommunications in IET DAVV or CSE in MITS. I choose MITS over other two on the basis of fees, curriculum and branch as i want to study CSE but in low fees and new curriculum.
Faculty
Faculty in my course is good enough to make you capable of placement and have good qualification. If you follow professors, u can eventually succeed,but there are some exceptions, not all teachers are good enough and tends to have ego problem so they tends to focus more on discipline rather than teaching.
Night Life
There is absolutely 0 night life campus closed at 7:30 and hostel gates also closes at 7:30 but boys hostel for boys is only for 1st year and also u can choose to live outside campus but you will miss hostel fun.
