Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetam, Coimbatore College review as a first year CS student.

i really wanted to learn computer science as i am really passionate about computer science. i am looking forward to get placed in a well reputed company and improve my career. the internship opportunities is also really good in this college. the frequency of exams is not hectic, we are having a good time and the exams do not pose much of a burden to us.

there are many companies that offer internships and placements in our college. but since im in first year, im not completely sure about the placcements of the college. but as far as i have heard from my seniors the placements are really good and the computer science department is really thriving in this college.

The college has 4 fee slabs. Each fee slab has a required marks or rank scored in the entrance exam. the college conducts entrance exam named as AEEE and based on your rank, you will be allotted a fee slab. fee slab starts from 2lpa to 8lpa including hostel fees.

overall experience in my college is really good but one thing is the social aspects is a bit lacking. we donot have much of cultural events happening in our college. but the clubs on the other hand is a real strong point as there are many experienced and diversified clubs in the campus.

the hostel rooms are the best ever i have ever seen in a hostel. the rooms are 4 sharing and the rooms are really spacious. i feel like home in this hostel and the faculty is also supportive. the hostel is pretty affordable and the amenities are really good in the hostel.

i chose this college because i really liked the quality of the education provided in this college, and this college is ranked really high in the national ranking. computer science is a really well developed course in our campus and i really like it. admissions is pretty straight forward and this was the best ranked college of all colleges i applied to.

the faculty is really good in our college. we are learning a lot from the staff and each of them are teaching pretty good. the curriculum and course subjects are up to date and we are only taught which is right for. our future. we have rather easier exams and passing the exams is not a big deal.

the admission was based on a written test and we were conducted an online exam. we have to write the exam on a specified center and the exam portions were 11th and 12th based. jee preparations were enough for me to attempt this exam.

2 gyms are there for men and they have specific opening and closing timings. the library is really high quality and the books are maintained neatly. there are 4 to 5 canteens within the campus and all of them are serving good quality meals. first year should be back in our hostels by 9 pm.
