College Review

One main positive remark about farook college that striked my mind is that the attitude of teachers and seniors students towards the junior students they are an important factor of becoming this college a favourite one for us.

This is a very good course. The name of this course is Bcom Finance. It is an aided course in our college. Aided course means the fees will be given by government for the students. But it is not very easy to get admission in aided courses. Our plus two percentage is the first criteria for giving admission for this. Bcom Finance is the one among these aided courses in our college. The course has 6 semesters in which 2 semesters in one year. So total 3 years is the duration of this course. Since our college is autonomous our semester end examinations(SEE) will happen on the dates scheduled by our college. Before that 2 tests in all subjects will be conducted in all semesters as to evaluate the internal marks. The result of semester end examinations will be given in the official website of farook college exams as fcexams.in.

No, this college does not provide placements and job opportunities. But in PG courses they are helping students getting placement opportunities. Our MBA students are also getting good placement packages.

1. Fresher's Day --- It is the first and the most important event celebrated in our college. It is the welcoming of 1st year students by 2nd year students. 2. The fee is very much feasible for my course. It's about 15000 for 3 years. Because my course is aided course (Bcom Finance) and they are only taking exam fees and other small expenses from us. Tution fees are given by the govt.

There are many scholarship facilities given by the government through our college and many other colleges. We can apply for any scholarship as we wish. There are many good scholarships for merit students as well as for management students

Our college is very famous in the field of sports. There are many students who got admission in our college through Sports quota (cricket , football , basketball , handball ) and there will be management fests conducted in our college with lots of games and other activities and labs are also available in our college

I would give 3 out of 5 for hostels. There are 4 hostels in our college. 3 for boys and 1 for girls. There are mess facilities and bathroom facilities also. The mess food is good that there are both vegetarian and non vegetarian. There is common bathroom in each floor of hostel.

Senior students are an important part of our college life. They will become very friendly towards us from the moment when we entered the college till the last day of our college. They helps us do our homeworks , exams , assignments etc.

I got admission in management seat by reccomendation. First I called by cousin brother's father who is included in the management committee of farook college. I asked him how to get admission in farook college. He told that there are 5 types of admission criteria in farook college -- 1. Merit list 2. Management Seat 3. SC/ST seat 4. Sports quota (cricket , football , basketball , handball ) 5.Lakshadweep students (Students whose native is in lakshadweep). He asked me my percentage , I told 84% Then he told that I have a chance of getting admission through management Seat , But he also told me to register in merit quota for getting by chance. But atlast I didn't got in merit list and got admission in management Seat. He gave me a letter that contains his recommendation for me. I gave that letter to the principal of farook college.After that I waited for some days and I got a call from the college that I have to attend an interview. Not only me , those students whose name is in the rank list should attend the interview. After that only final decision will be taken to give admission to students.On that day I got my token Number for interview with the principal. My number is 58. I waited for his call till evening with my sslc , plus two certificates. At last he called me , interacted with me and my father and atlast gave me admission for Bcom Finance.

The faculty of my college is simply awesome. We have different faculties in in different subjects in different semester. All of them are really talented and giving us proper teaching. They also have good behaviour and attitude while interacting with us.
