Course Curriculum Overview

4

As said, the course is based on NEP 2020 thus the course is structured for practical knowledge in related field and not just for imparting theoretical knowledge. So, it is relevant in today's world where the course serves as the base for further studies and make a good career using the knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is simple. Boys of all categories and girls of all categories whether they are UR, OBC, SC, ST have the same fees but the fees for boys and girls are different with girls fees slightly less than the boys. FEES FOR BOYS: FEES FOR GIRLS: 1st year - 4512/- 4368/- 2nd year - 6327/- 6183/- 3rd year - 6627/- 6483/- For financial aid, the college registers the students for state government scholarship and also provides yearly scholarship to meritorious students.

Campus Life

3

Though there's isn't much of any annual programs held, annual sports meet is organised where students compete with each other. Also there's a grand meet under Maharana Pratap Sikhsha Parishad where schools and colleges participate in approximately 100 activities like team sports, speech, debate, poem in hindi, english, sanskrit language, etc... The position holders are awarded cash price and certificate. The library contains only course relevant books and it is not spacious to study comfortably.

Admission

I applied for DDUGU, but couldn't make it. So I had changes in my career plan where I needed a flexible schedule for competitive preparation and this college offered me this. The admission process is quite simple, done on the basis of 10th and 12th marks along with other criterias that help in merit preparation. Every criteria has certain marks which help in final merit.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio depends on the course. In Biology that is Zoology, Botany, Chemistry/Physical Education/ Defence the ratio is around 2 teachers for 80 students, however there are 4 teachers in chemistry as it is divided into Organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry and environmental chemistry. All the faculty members are approachable in time of needs and are always eager to help the students. The best among them is the principal who's highly motivated and aims excellence. He listens to students concerns with patience and he is the one students look for if their issue isn't resolved. Talking about exam pattern, it is conducted under NEP 2020 guidelines and the curriculum imposed by DDUGU. There are semester exams , in total 6 exams are conducted for a 3 year degree. However recent changes asked students for internal test of 20 marks in each paper, replacing the assignment and project submission.

Night Life

2

The college is divided into east and west campus. B.A/ M.A/ B.COM/ M.COM is in east campus and B.Sc/M.Sc/ BCA/ B.Ed in west campus. Due to this separation there's no interaction between the two campuses. There's no nightlife or amusing thing in the college to hangout or to go for after- studies activities. There's a gym with all the basic facilities and equipments where students can exercise during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
