An overview of GVP

I think I choose this course(computer science)as I was interested in coding and wanted to get a good job with good package.I don't think the college curriculum prepares you for real-world applications(it is my opinion tho) ,but yes you will learn the basics of computer science.The exams and not very frequent,mid 1 comes after 2 months of joining a semester and after 2 months you will have mid 2 after which you will immediately have the semester exams.

I would say right from the start of 7th semester.However you should try to get placed as early as possible as not many companies visit once you are in 8th semester.I would say that nearly 15 companies visited for cs it and the packages were under 10lpa.however there are few companies that give above 10 lpa but they recruit only 1 or 2 people.For cs students it getting placed will not be a problem however you need to study well to get placed with a good package.i am thinking of getting a job after getting the degree

Yearly for btech in cs I paid 69,000.However it has increased from 2025 admitted batches.There is no additional fees that is charged,we only are required to pay the tuition fee which I mentioned before.If you have white card I guess the govt pays the fee for you instead.

There are not festivals in our college.As far as accessibility of books are concerned I think you wouldn't have any problems with that as the library is one of the very few places you will actually like in the college.The facilities and technology provisions are ok. I was not a sports enthusiast however you can play sports ae there are different options available for sports.

The time I joined was in 2021 I was not able to decent percentile in jee mains hence I was left with the option to join through EAMCET.When I searched on Google about the best college to join through EAMCET this was in first place and I checked the placements on the college website they were pretty good compared to other colleges.However I learnt later that they have also included the placements which the students got through off campus on their placement data and top tech companies do not visit here.Admissions happen either through EAMCET or you need to pay extra fee through nri quota

The college faculty are pretty experinced themselves therefore they have subject knowledge and are very friendly and easy to approach.As far as exams are concerned you will have 2 mid exams and 1 semester exam every semester.

There is a small gym inside the college and hostellers can use that for fitness.There is also a college canteen which is opened form 8 till 4.Library timings are from 8 till 7pm.College timings are 8:40 to 3:20.
