Remarks
The college has a vast infrasturcture. Which is quite historic since it was the first medical college of gujarat. But there are some aspects which needs to be renowate n replanned. The college is very good in academics and extra curricular activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is a good course which prepares graduate for medical research plus clinical practice. The exams are conducted at the end of every year which is a 5.5 yr course. First exam at end of 1 yr. 2 exam at end of 1.5 yr. 3,4 exam are conducted at next 1 yr respectively.
Placement Experience
Ours being a mbbs college we don't have anything such as placement. We always have to go for interview. Our college provides internship which is compulsory so as to obtain graduation degree. The pay of stipend is at around 13k per month.
College Events
Our college celebrates the festivals. Plus our college has its own fest bj beats conducted at the may end or June start. The fest has included all the indoor outdoor games along with concerts and other activites.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is very feasible as its a govt college. The fees is below 10k per year. Also getting in this college this is a tough things. So the poor students get scholarship easily also they gets the books free by various scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid
Guj govt offers various scholarships to students. There is as such no scheme provided by our college but govt provides for various schemes. There is a mysy scheme of govt which gives scholarship. Also another scheme for girls by guj govt too.
Campus Life
Our college is very good at sports. There is a badminton court and a games room too. There is also a large ground being our college where students can play cricket football volleyball. Our college students participate in extracurricular activities which are regularly organized.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very helpful. They had help the college to improve the infrastructure of our college n also they help to provide the ac libraries to the students. Senior students helps us in our day to day studies along with the issues we face on day to day bases.
Admission
I got admission through merit list which contains combined grades of board exams plus gujcet exam conducted by gujarat govt. The merit list was formed according to the list. N according to the merit list I got admission here by an offline procedure.
Faculty
We have one of the best qualified faculties in medicine at our college. Who not only have good qualifications but with them bring immense experience. The faculties are very supportive and caring and helps us to solve our doubts.
