College journey

The course of MMMUT college is based upon new education policy, which forces upon practical implementation and deals with daily life problems. It is so much relevant. Very few colleges have implemented new education policy in their curriculum. Mmmut is one of them. So,I choose it in comparison with other. Class timing should be reformed, college should provide free time to students and It should also provide some relaxation for attendence, so that students focus more on their personal development besides academic. Exams are conducted in form of minor and major. There are two minor and one major. The difficulty level is moderate to difficult. Minor exam is of one hour and major is of 3 hour.

Companies like TCS, wipro, infosys, IBM, Capgemini comes for placement drive. They also provide internship opportunities to students and judge them according to their projects. They also give them tasks according to the roles in which they wanted to hire students. For example, if companies come for developer job, they give task on frontend or backend development.

From past few years placement of MMMUT has increased. It receives 850 plus offers in 2023-2024 offers with average package 6 lpa and highest package 42 lpa. Most of the placement are done in tech sector. Companies like TCS, wipro, tech Mahindra, infosys come for tech placement and for core aditya birla, mahindra, torrent gas, polycab comes in the college. In tech branches CSE, IT and ECE, almost 95 percent students get placed however in core branches near about 80 percent students get placed because some students got for higher studies.

The college fees stand at ?150,000 annually. The hostel fee is ?24,000, and the mess charges are ?18,000. The government of Uttar Pradesh provides scholarships to students according to their category, so the student can receive financial support. This scholarship program is supposed to help all those students belonging to different strata of society to complete their education. The caution fees for hostel is 10000, and mess cautIon fees is 5000.

My overall experience is awesome. The name of annual tech fest is techsrijan, cultural fest is abhyudaya, annual sports fest is aayas, which is conducted on a large scale. The college has a central library which consists large amount of books of every subjects. For first year students the classroom is fully air conditioned with smart board. There are so many societies like E-cell, Social engineer board, NSS, cultural society and musical society.

Hostel facility is good in the college. Students get one tubelight, fan, chair, table and one bed, rest things students should bring from their home. Quality of mess food is average and menu is decided by the students. Student can do registration for hostel when they come for document verification. There are lots of room and PG nearby with different price bar so student can rent it according to their budget.

I have applied for Jamia millia islamia, and other NITs but there I got branches like civil and mechanical but I have keen interest in computer science so, I opt for this course. Moreover college new education policy admire me a lot to join it and also it is nearby my MMMUT takes admission on the basis of jee main marks and students get respective branches according to their branches. CSE, It branches get closed at 95 percentile for general students. Student must have taken Maths in class 12 and have secured minimum 60 percent in class 12 to take admission in this college. College has enough faculties for every department. Faculties are very much supportive which supports students in every way whether academic or non- academic. The name of faculty I liked most is Sushil Kumar Saroj sir, Rohit Kumar Tiwari sir, Rakesh sir. They support me a lot. I don't like guest faculties because they are not much educated and don't give marks in exams. College conduct two minor exams of 20 marks or 10 marks as per credit and one major exam of 50 marks each subject. The difficulty level is moderate to difficult. Most of the students pass the exam. There is no any GD, interview questions or test for admission, students can get direct admission through counselling on the basis of jee main rank. CSE, IT branch is allotted with 93 to 95 percentile. ECE and electrical at 90 to 92 percentile, for general category.

There is one gym, one large playground, one canteen and one cafeteria. Hostel in time for boys in their first year is 5 pm and lateron there is no in time. For girls, the in time is 5:00 pm in the first year and lateron it is 8:00 pm. The best hangout place in the campus is CSA ground and it is safe to roam on streets at night.
