MSIT - Overall Good College

Overall good college and you are free to pursuit what you want to do in life. There is no such pressure. So it really depends on the individual, what they want and how hardworking they are. So, yeah it's upto you.

B.tech It. So first year has common subjects and from second year onwards subjects are mostly focused towards computer science like data structures, algorithms and object oriented programming. Exams are of 75 marks external and 25 marks are for internals.

Placements are actually one of the best in IPU. Our placement director is quite famous and has lots and lots of contacts. So, a large no. of companies come each and every year for internships as well as placements.

There are two fests mainly in moths of January and February. First in AVENSIS and second is GENESIS. One is specific to MSIT and other is for whole IPU. Both the fests include cultural as well as technical programs.

Fee structure is quite feasible. It's just 120000 Rs every year. When you look from the prespective of B.tech it is quite affordable. Fee is to be paid in the first or second week of August every year.

Yeah, scholarships as well as loan facility both are offered. For scholarships, there are various government schemes but most are specific to OBC's and SC's. For loans, there is an Indian oversea's bank branch within campus which provides loan facility.

There are lots of extracurricular activities. Each sem there are about 5 lab subjects. So, there is one lab almost every day. As far as activities are concerned every sem an educational visit is also conducted to a suitable place withing delhi NCR.

First you need to give IPU CET exam. Then rank list is displayed. After that is the choice filling round. AFter that cutoff's are displayed and then admission according to cutoff. You then have to go to alotted college and pay the required fees.

Faculty is quite good. They teach very well. Whole exam syllabus is thoroughly covered before exams. Each and every concept is explained well and there are regular doubts and tutorials sessions. So, no problem with the faculty.
