Remarks
Take admission only if you extra money to spare and you don't care about making a career. You'll have a great time during your college life here. You'll probably get to travel a lot. But keep your expectations really low for making a career in your field after graduating.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is like most private universities across the country. Students won't find anything new here. The exam structure is rigorous. And there is a lot of importance given to attendance, which is a way for them to earn more money from you. Since, if you don't have minimum 75% attendance in any of your subject, you will debarred from giving the semester exams of the same. Then, you have to pay a hefty fine for a re-examination.
Placement Experience
For architecture course, there are zero placements or job opportunities. If you need a placement, don't go for architecture branch. Engineering has like 30-40% placement. So yeah, the placement scenario is really bad. In architecture course, you have to do a necessary 6-month internship (prescribed by Council Of Architecture). The college won't help you to get one. You'll have to find one on your own.
College Events
There are various events celebrated in the college as in any other college across the country. The scale of the events is pretty low though, compared to other private institutions. So, it's just for namesake.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is expensive for a middle class person. Be prepared to atleast shell out 10 lakh rupees. There is a concession for those who have Uttrakhand domicile. And there are various scholarships as well, which depend on your marks in Class 12th.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarships available. Both a the time of admissions, as well as during your course. The scholarships available during the time of admission are mostly dependent on your marks in Class 12th. And the other scholarships during your course period are for scoring outstanding marks. Loan facilities from various banks are available. You can contact them during the admission counselling session.
Campus Life
Not much extracurricular activities available. Although the college is at a great location, so can always travel around to various spots. Labs are quite good and well maintained. Sports facilities are average. There are 3-4 table tennis tables. 2 Basketball courts and 1 badminton court. No big ground available to play hockey, footbal or cricket.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is really poor. The college does not give any focus to it. Once you are graduated from the college, you might not ever return back. There are no alumni meets organised by the college. A student can always build his own while studying though.
Admission
Depending on your course, you have to get minimum prescribed marks by the college in Class 12th. Generally it is 50%. That is it. Now you just need to attend the college's admission counselling session, which is thoroughly advertised on various platforms. Bring all the required documents, which will be verified and admission will be offered.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is average. Se of the teachers are experienced (30%) and most are freshers. The teachers are burdened under the pathetic administration of the college. You might also face partiality and favourism.
