Likes
- Some faculty are good but some are very bad . Confrences are arranged regularly. some classes are digitised.
- The social life is good at college. Boys and Girls have good interactions in it.
- College non teaching staff is good and they have good interactions with us.
Dislikes
- Improvement in Sports and NCC selection . Sports are very inactive in college .
- There is no Placement in College . NO Internships are provided
- Infrastructure is not good at all . NO digital boards to all classes and no playground seperately.
Course Curriculum Overview
Overall 50% is relevant like Psychology if fully relevant subject because of psychology i choose this course. In real world applications curruculum prepares me for further job oppurtunities and further studies. Teaching method is average and not modern teaching method.timings of exams are good .
Fees and Financial Aid
This Year i Paid total fees of 10000 including all the fees because this is a government college .My batchmate who have a same course as mine he paid the fees of 8000 and this fees also get back to him because he belongs to Sc category . There is only 1 scholarship that is available here for SC students and students who belongs from lower income group like who have BPL ration cards. Overall Faculity are medium ranged. No proper lectures,not proper playground and good hostel .Overall average college .
Campus Life
There are only republic day and independence day is held and sometimes dogri cultural festival is also held. There are only course books available . No other book is there. Some classrooms are digitised while some are not . Facilities are average.Sports scope is also limited. Many students run social groups like AVBP , Dogri club , Anti drug clubs and student portal like devika library a online site that provide notes and news. A instagram page is also run on college names and many whatsapp groups.
Admission
I did not applied for another college . I wanted to study psychology and i found in this college . Thats why i applied in this college .This college also in our hometown and fit perfect according to fee structure. The admission process of our college is simple you have pass common entrance test and submit documents and fees .Admission is done .
Faculty
The Faculity to student ration is 1teacher per 90students .Faculity to student relationship are good and they are very approachable. I liked 3 faculities name 1. Dr.rupali sharma , vice principal Babu lal thakur, and Anoksha sharma because their teaching style is awesome and very helpful to all the students . I dont dislike anyone . my faculties are all good . There are 5 External exams and 5 internal exams. About 20% students are pass in final examss. The curriculum is 50% relevant.
Night Life
Yes many gyms and cafeterias are running outside campus. Famous cafeteria The Tea Factory is run outside campus . College timing are 9 am to 3 pm and hostel timing are not get outside after 7 pm . Famous hangout places are some of cafe and gangera hills outside campus to hangout. Also panchari hill station is also there.
