My college journey

No wifi in the campus you have to use only internet facility only in psit computers and also you have to take permission because all websites are blocked only if you take permission then they give you system for all access.

Every semester we have to make separate copy for each subject and also practical file for practical subject. They check regularly copies and files. They will complete your course before exam somehow. They mainly conduct 2 class test and 1 pre university exam before external exam and your internal marks is depend on these tests. Also you have to maintain 90% attendance to get full marks in internals and GP. There is no politics if you score good marks class test and pu then you will get good internal marks otherwise if you not secure good marks even you are topper of last semester or any semester they will not give you internal marks.

They mainy invite mnc like infosys and Lnt. And they try to conduct more off campus drives in psit like for 2019 batch they conduct drive for wipro, ESS, Ericsson etc Expect them they conducted many drives for IT and core. If you are from cs and it then you will get placement easily. Other department have to suffer. In my batch they not able to provide any internship opportunity to any student. They also send their student to company office for interview.

Frshers party for first year and second year only. Ignitia, two day college fest. First day dj night and second day will celebrity night. Till they invited- Hardy sandhu, Monali thakur, Sukhwinder singh, Jawed ali, Kumar vishwas, Prakas jha, Shirley setia, etc. And at last they celebrate sports day on children day. Various sports has been takes parts in event. And at last they celebrate felicitation caremony for final year students who hot placement from college.

Approx 1.5 Lac for first year btech. And they increase approx 4k to 5k in every year. There is also bus facility only in kanpur they charege 36000 for ac bus anywhere in kanpur. Also you can get scholarship if your father is non govt employee and income is less than 2.5 LPA. You have to apply up scholarship and you will get approx 56600 rs scholarship.

They not offer any scholarship to student by the college but UP government provide scholarship to the students category does bot matter if your father is non govt employee and having less than 2.5 lpa salary then you are eligible for scholarship. But college only take responsibility of checking form and sending form to samaj kalyan. They dont take responsibility of scholarship. It is depend on govt.

Infrastructure of psit is very good they have no. Of grounds and football court. We can take part in college team and also we can win prize. Extra curriculam activities only conducted in allual fest that is ignitia. And Labs of psit is very good approx 2000 pcs are available in labs.

They have a hostel facility but I don't opted the hostel. They have separate boys and girls hostels and also they have category of ac and non ac hostels. Fees of hostel approx 75000. Mesh is also included in hostel you will get only vegetarian meal.

They make session of seniors to juniors and alumni. They provide lot of opportunity to interact with senior and corporate world. Know about how industry works and what is requirement from us what we have to learn and more.

Direct procedure by management quota, simply they take a test at the time of admission and a short interview like introduction, hobbies, goal etc. Marks you score in test will decide your branch. If you score more than 60% then you are free to choose any branch and if your marks is less than they will give a random branch.

Facility in psit has highly qualified and well mannerd but there are some facilities in every department who talk like road side romeo. They don't have manners and they have ego of psit. But even though faculty never take his guilt. And admin department also not takes any action on them.
