- There is a lot of pressure on attendance you have to complete 100% clinicals and 80% theory.
- We are given least number of holidays and even medical leaves are not given
- There is a lot of assignment completion stress and back to back exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum is basically governed and affiliated by Indian Nursing Council. Well the curriculum gives hands-on experiences to all the students Areas of improvements will be use of more technologies and simulation techniques Exams are frequent in medical college and they are based on average difficulty level.
Fees and Financial Aid
•The year wise fees for our course is 40,600 in first followed by 26,000 fees for the next 3 consecutive years. •fees of sc/st/obc is 21000/- with hostel •we get upscholarship for our aid and it is available to all the students achieving 75% marks and attendance above 75%. As a general category student i get the amount same as my fees.
Campus Life
We have an annual fest named Rhapsody which occurs in September or october Other than that there is a sports fest named Drona The classrooms are equipped with technology required. There is different councils and groups for different departments and a dean student welfare
Hostel Facilities
The room is generally occupied by 3 students of same year and a bed almirah with a table and chair is provided in a room The meal quantity of mess is average and menu is different everyday. Registration for hostel is done at the time of admission only and its quite affordable ...just 5000 for a year without food though
Admission
Actually i applied for this only at the time of counseling and got it in the first place. I didn't apply for any other college Admission is based on entrance test and the rank achieved in it. Enterance Exams are based on pcb course only
Faculty
Basically student teacher ratio is okay and teachers are approachable and understanding. All the faculties are likeable and there are not any teachers to whom i genuinely dislike For exam system we have semester wise exams which include 2 mid semesters and 1 pre university before final semester.
Night Life
There is no Gym facilities in campus but there is library and public areas Hostel for girls are in campus only with in time of 10 pm. There are various historical areas nearby kgmu to visit and the locality is averagely safe at night
