- The orchid garden of our college us Best, and its quite peaceful to look at. As you enter the first gate you'll the orchid garden, it has seating arrangements for the students, as we sometimes had to wait for our next classes.
- The teaching staff of english department
- The library is also quite nice, it has many books.
Dislikes
- Small infrastructure of the college, suffocating hallway
- Suffocating washroom, it is crowded so much
- Smelly washroom and bad lighting of the girls washroom
Course Curriculum Overview
Being the first batch of the New Education policy ( NEP ) it wasn't quite easy to understand the new course and curriculum system. Personally, i find it interesting and quite relevant, we got to study vast variety of subjects.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly we spent about 4k to 5k. There is admission fees and exam form fill up fees, it differs from arts to science. Science students has to give a bit more than arts and commerce. Then there's also hostel fees if you take admission at hostel.
Campus Life
It is a bitter sweet experience, as i entered the college life i met so many new people with such contrasting personalities and sooooo many assignments, sometimes 8-10 at once, thankfully the end dates are reasonable.
Admission
My reason for taking admission at Dera Natung Government College was mostly because of the low fees and easy admission process. And it's quite near than all the other colleges available in my area. The admission process of DNGC is very simple, just go to any cyber with All the needed documents and simply just wait for the results. Admission percentage needed is quite low so most of the students get in easily
Faculty
Faculty members of the English department are very welcoming, and most of the professors at the college are very friendly and nice to talk to. Specially Dr. Janan padhi is extremely nice and his teaching skills is the best.
Night Life
The library is probably one the best thing about the college. There are many rents and houses arround the college, despite being surrounded by the green life. Unfortunately there are no gyms at the college.
