VIT vellorr

I would say it is a very good college but the only problem is that it is overpopulated as the men's hostel only are 12 boys hostels so one can imagine how many students are there not only this if a student fails to perform in the college he is placed with all the bad students which don't motivate a child which is a bit harsh.

I believe that the course curriculum is really exceptional as in VIT there is FFCS under which a student has the freedom to choose the kind and amount of subject he wants to learn in a particular semester and even the teachers can be chosen. The exam structure is broken down into 2 parts:- Internals(60% weightage):- It includes all the assignments and MCQ quizzes (30 marks)and the unit test (30 marks) Final assessment test (40% weightage) Due to this breakdown even if the internals go wrong then the student has ample opportunities

The placements are at par the best in VIT and as it is a private college the level of placements is best compared to any other college like SRM but yes when the comparison between bits arises u just can't compare it with VIT as it is Grade A level of college, no there aren't any internships in VIT Vellore

So there are a lot of events that go around in our college but majorly it is divided into 2 one is the fall semester Gravitas which is the technical fest and in winter sem it is Riviera Which is one of the most reputed fests of the country.

Depends if you are selected in category 1 then the fees including hostel is around 11 lac but in category 5 it goes up to 25 lacs so I would say it is an expensive college as most of the students are from Category 5

The college provides scholarship to the top 100 students in the VITEEE exam but apart from that the students can avail of loan from all the nationalized banks, if a person opts for an Indian bank then it comes under scholar loan i.e. loan without any assets

The labs are well equipped and you will find all the sports inside the campus but in the labs, as it is a private college any damage comes with a fine. In sports, if a person wants to get professional training then they can pay the amount and get it

The hostels are allotted based upon the CGPA overall the hostels are good. but the main topic of discussion is the kind of students that live inside that hostels if you are having good marks then you will have a good hostel(company-wise and facilities wide) but if Ur CGPA is low so Ur hostel won't be that good

The senior students are really helpful as their work comes to play during FFCS i.e. teacher selection as their advices come to play that which teacher is lenient in giving marks and who's not. As there are many teachers who are not so good at giving marks and they are most prone to giving sem back to the students.

I gave the VITEEE exam under which if u get a rank under 20K you are called up in the first round of counseling where different fields are offered. but CSE finishes of till 6k and IT finishes of by 11k

They are playing like some of them are really nice like in the information technology branch there are some really cool teachers but after all, it's a college u can't expect to have yourself hand to mouth there
