Pleasant College with vast infrastructure and faculty

Well there are positive and negative remarks Coming to positive our college encourages new types of projects to work up on from students and fund them too if needed and any research related also and negative are some which may not be considered mostly that the college students (some) has caste groupism in and out college

The course consists like 8 semesters which follows CBCS System and each subject has particular credits. The exam scoring pattern is of 60M+ 40M I.e 60M is the external semester end examination and the 40M is the internal MID Examinations, that total sums up to 100 on a scale of grade O for 90-100 A+ for 80-89 , A for 70-79 , B+ for 60- 69 B for 50-59 , C for 45-49 and P for 40- 44 and less than 40 is F ( Fail)

The placements and job opportunities and very good and numerous companies come up and recruite the talented students at a huge number No the college doesn't provide internship but it offers companies to come up and ask them to take up students for the internship program.we have TCS every year taking up students foe internship

We students at GITAM, Visakhapatnam have atleast one fest or events going in and around our campus as we have many more department wings like Management International school of business, Pharmacy, Dental,Medical, Science,Law, so any one can attend those events

Coming to fee structure it's quite expensive for parents as i am an 2015 student my fees was 204500/- for a year and if hostel then it cost an non refundable cation deposit of 50000/- plust the monthly hostel fees of around 9k for the first year and around 7k for the next years. present the college annual fees is 272200/- which is very high

no I haven't availed loan facility and coming to scholarship, college offers scholarship of 4000 every year for meritorious students of 8.5 cgpa above They must apply for the scholarship and even Students who scored Below 100 in GAT entrance Examination can get 25% 50% fee waiver depending on their merit

The labs are well equipped and coming to sports we have high class well infrastructured ground which we can play cricket and football as it has feel of playing in mini cricket stadium with open sitting area around and view gallery of 3 storey and display board for scores

Yes they are helpful to college even and to junior's. We our college have club started by our almuni called GUSAC still the alumni comes to see it and makes it better with suggestions and ideas and seniors helping out juniors with their placements on how to face them and lot more things

I have written my GAT examination conducted by the college and i have scored a rank of 5143 and had many options in selecting the braches,so i opted Electronic and Communication engineering as my preference and was admitted

They have very good knowledge regarding the subjects and were very helpful getting to understand better in concepts.Most of faculty people are graduates from M.Tech of NIT and IIT's with a good experience
