Good experience, but insufficient curriculum.

I chose this course , because it was affordable for me. I wanted to pursue B.Tech CS but money and marks don't let me to do so. Till now, i find that, curriculum don't prepare you for real world applications. They should include modern technologies like MongoDB, DSA, React, etc. Modern problem will require modern tech solutions.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 2nd year. The companies visited are tcs, Himitsu (Japanese), etc. Average package i Heard is around 2LPA. I would work in Multinational Company after completing the course.

The fees for us (2023 Batch ) is : 48k + 52k + 55k = 155k But now from 2024, the fees have been increased. The first year fees is 60k. Here's the breakdown of it: Eligibilty: 1k Admission: 2k Examination: 3k Tuition: 35k Laboratory: 18.5k Library: 500Rs.

The computer science department dont organise events, sometimes they do, rarely. But others departments do arrange events like open mic singing, food street, Navratri celebrations, etc. Every class is equipped with projector for visual representations and well structured benches. Sports activities happens here: kabaddi, volley ball, cricket, etc. There's one instagram account named tmv_confessions, run by unknown student.

I had applied to Garware College, but got rejected over low marks (got 74% in boards, 69%ile in MHTCET). I chose TMV, because i had no other options were left. And they have affordable fees structure, this is plus point. Admission Process: Solve online 50MCQ questions based on general Computer knowledge, and basic maths. Pay fees and welcome to TMV.

The faculties are very humble and friendly, they are most approachable except HOD(of course). Supriya Ma'am, I like her passion to teach. She always ready to teach students something new. Our Advanced Web Design (AWD) ma'am, she is so humble and approachable. But, her teaching approach is very basic, they should teach modern concepts like Nodejs, React, etc. We have exams semester wise, Internal and External. Exams are very easy to pass, if u have studied good. I find curriculum irrelevant. They contains only basic things like html, css and Js basic ones. You can't get into any company with these only.

They have gym, but they charge 400Rs. Per month, this is sad part. Library is awesome, contains almost evry subject books, be it philosophy, history, business, etc. I dint opted for hostel, i stay at home. The area around the college is absolutely safe to roam. There's a Metro Station (Swaragte) near college, famous temples, and historical fort Shaniwarwada.
