Course Curriculum Overview
There were two types of courses offered, IIT and regular course. I opted for regular one in which examination were of 6 months duration and preparatory quarterly, which helped students to prepare more.
Placement Experience
Placement percentage in our college was around 90% students used to get placed in a multi national company. Some students used to find internship for themselves with good companies and for some other colleges used to help get internship.
College Events
We had three events every year College day, sports day and ethnic day. College day would be celebrated with some recreation functions some awards for teachers and rank holding students Sports day would be inter class competition of various events. Ethnic would be of wearing a dress of ethnicity and some dance and functions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Compared to other colleges it was feasible. However some courses was charged a bit more. If we opted for extra course or classes that would be of extra charges. Infrastructure offered from college was not upto mark of the fees they charged
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships were rare, hardly one or two students used to get some times noone did get. There no offer from college side for any kind of loans for any courses. Students needed to visit the bank and get the eligibility for that.
Campus Life
I was a volleyball player, so there were a lot of extra curricular activities. Sports included volleyball, cricket, hockey, badminton, chess and many more. There was National cadet corps and labs for every department.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors, at first were very helpful we used to get their help by knowing the college and getting notes copy from them. Seniors were all friendly and we had great communication between us. Alumni network was really good too.
Admission
I walked in after my high school with the marks card and certificate. Talked to the principal and gave my details to the staff at the office and got my admission. I am a sports person, had my nationals certificate which helped the process of admission easy
Faculty
The college faculty was very qualified and professional. Some lecturers were highly qualified and their teaching style was of real different approach which helped us a lot. Every lecturer helped us whenever we wanted.
