Course Curriculum Overview
As this cource is based on cmputers and the future is technology so this made me choose this field over others. The curriculum teaches us some really core concepts and makes us understand the deep working of the computer and programing languages, but it fails to prepare us for the real-world as these skills are not asked much today. The university should teach students the latest and demanding skills and laguages more than old stuff that they teach. There is alot of time gaps between semester end exams which is not good for students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees for one semseter is 21500, this includes all tutuion fees caution fees , and all other misc. fees. University charges 16000 per sem for genral and 14000 for sc/st. For completing the cource this collage charges the total of 172000 as it is a fyugp and has 8 semesters in total.
Campus Life
There are really less festivals and events in this collage it is mostly study oriented. Some of the compitions are held at collage for example the singing and shyari contest named "SATRANG" this is held every year in the collage itself. I personally have not visited the library but my friends find some of the required books there, not all but some. There is only a smart board in the class but no AC. On campus these is not much os sports activities as it has a really small campus but there is a dedicated room for indoor games such as Table Tennis and chess, it also has NCC in the campus for students. students run may social groups such as Rotteract Club which has many events and activities throughout, this forces students to open up to others and talk which is necessary for the real-world after college
Admission
I applied to one or two more collages in jamshedpur but was alredy had a mindset to choose this collage over others as this collage has better reviews and a better word of mouth in this city. I was selected in other collages also but still decided to choose this. To take admission in this collage you can also apply online or you can come to collage and collect the admission form both will work. I Personally took addmission offline and it was really easy and smooth process, didn't face any difficulty in the process. Students from any stream can apply for this cource but students with maths in their subjects will be in benefit as the cource demands basic maths for programing and other stuff.
Faculty
There are educated and smart faculty, there is 1 prof. on 60 students in one class. The facultys are really friendly and approachable at any time needed. I liked all the faculties there as they all are helpful in nature. There is an ineternal exam and a semester end exam for the whole semester and sometimes class tests are also taken as per the faculty's will, most of the students pass in the exams but some of them fail as they don't study at all.
Night Life
There is not much of a nightlife in the collage, it has a gym inside but it opens in the evening and we have classes early morning so there is no need to stay that long. There is also a canteen but it is really small and does not have a nice menue. One of the famous hangout places near the collage is Jublie park which is the place to hangout and chill for most of the students.
