BCom is a 3 years bachelor's degree program in accounting and business management. The main subjects are accountancy, statistics, human resource, economics, taxation, marketing which are taught during the course.

College Events

National Social Service activities like health awareness program by NSS division of the college, Saftey training by the NCC division, Independence Day celebration, Swachchhata Divas etc are the events celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is very low as compared to other colleges present in this area. The college takes around 2400 rupees per year for the BCom program.

Fees and Financial Aid

College does have the scholarship program for every student based on her/his academics performance as in the name of merit cum means scholarship except this, students can also apply for the scholarship schemes run by the government too.

Our college does the overall development of a student by promoting universal values, motivating students to participate in NSS and NCC activities, arranging seminars and workshops on different topics.

Alumni/Alumna

College also has an alumni association for establishing the connection between the college students and their seniors as well as super seniors which also helps students to get jobs and internships.

Admission

I applied by filling the form online by going to the website of the college as soon as they released the notification for the same and uploaded my photo, signature and the document required then they published a merit list and I got admission by paying the fee.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Bethuadahari collage beautiful moment

Eligibility of t course was normal 12th pass I got 60 person marks but I managed to get admission in this college with ars very easily. I applied in June 2022 At the time of application, the college authorities were taking Rs 2000 admission free. Good reservation facilities are available at Pinsepal. The frequency and timing of exams along with your perspective on their difficulty level was very good but one semester exam amar diwa hoini khub is a bad news but very good in terms of exam.
