IISER Bhopal

There are barely any negative remarks about my college. And on the other hand there are countless positive remarks about my college. The positivity in the campus is the reason why we all feel as if we are in our home. The greenery in our campus gives peace.

The course curriculum is same as that of JEE main. The level is same of the JEE exam. The exam structure is of 4 parts physics, chemistry, maths and biology. Each part contains 15 questions with negative marking.

Basically after graduation generally people do PhD. But there are various job opportunities government as well private sector jobs. Yes, our institute provides internship with the guidance of our extremely talented professors. I have done an internship there and it's awesome to just gain the knowledge they provide. They don't give any stipend, it's an unpaid internship.

Our college is a science and research oriented college. So we do have science fest in which we organise very scientific games sort of but not only science we endeavour cultural and sport too. Singing, dancing, drawing, art, literature, sports everything is celebrated as big events. There is an Inter IISER sports meet and Inter IISER cultural meet also.

The fee structure is very feasible. Also as we are studying basic sciences and also there are students from KVPY, we get scholarships for our study which makes it more feasible and all thanks to MHRD.

INSPIRE scholarship is provided to students who are pursuing a degree in basic sciences. And also KVPY scholars are provided with a scholarship in our period of graduation. Also apart from these when we do our internship out of India they fund us through various program.

The labs we got here in our college are one of the best labs in India. They have high quality instruments, newest to newest technology and everything. Sports is one of the best extra curricular activities.

This is a residential campus. So everyone has to live in the hostel. The hostel infrastructure is so nice, a single room is allotted after your 1st year. The facilities are very nice, you get 24 hrs hospital facility which is I guess the most important of all.

The alumni network proves to be very helpful when we try to contact. The seniors are also very helpful. They always guide us in such a way that we get to choose the best decisions for us and it helps us to make good decisions.

There are 3 ways to get an admission in IISER. First, through KVPY, second is you have to pass there exam which they take for school/central board students and lastly if you clear JEE advance and have rank under 10000.

The faculty of our college is very nice. They have done there PhDs from very well known University not only of India but of the entire world. Some from Japan, max Planck institute, Harvard University etc. They are the best we could get.
