Golden year of my life

I just have positive remarks for my college. This college has given us an identity. Gave us many opportunities to grow. Even the faculty give us the best possible that the can provide. Additional to the practical knowledge that we gained.

My opinion on the course was firstly B.com for graduation and then M.com for post- graduation. The exam structure at our time was yearly basis. Exams are conducted at University level. Our college was entitled to Rajasthan University.

Many international companies had placement tie-up with our college. Few examples that I remember are Genpact, Infosys, TCS, etc. No, our College does not provide intership. If we had to do intership we had to join other companies for it.

Few events celebrated at our college are:- 1. Fresher's 2. Youth Week 3. Educational tours 4. Annual functions 5.Art exhibition 6. Science exhibition 7. Social welfare programs 8. Model Workshops 9. Personality grooming workshops 10. Orientation program 11. Dandiya night 12. Farewell, etc.

The fees structure is pretty feasible for all classes of society, especially for economically backward groups. As the college was semi - government earlier and became fully privatized now, the fee structure is not too high. Everyone can afford it.

The college has few scholarship progammes that were based on merit. An aptitude test was also conducted that revealed the actual condition of the student. Because of which the college gave scholarship to the students who deserved it.

The college conducted many extracurricular activities, labs, sports and other activities. These activities were from section levels, then college level, inter-college level, district-state-national as well as international levels.

I was a scholar, but few of my friends were hostelers. Basis on their experience I can say that tje infrastructure and basis facilities of the hostel were good. Just issue came with the food quality that the mess served, as usually happens with every hostel.

Alumni network and senior students are not that active. Alumni parties and get together are still held by the college but due to no information provided to ex-students, these people are unable to attend such programs.

We have to fill forms revealing our 12th percentage. On that basis the college made merit lists. Those merit list were revealed in 3 phases. Those merits list had the names of students. Once the merit list revealed the name, the students can deposited their fees and join the college.

The faculty in our college were very serious about our studies. They took regular lectures, unlike other colleges were lectures are not taken. College was even strict for attendance percentage. Students meant to have atleast 75% attendance compulsarily at the end of the year.
