Parul University

The course curriculum is ofcourse outdated as in every other engineering college in India,but the thing is they are making changes in it from our batch students ,they are adding the skill development classes on the actual skills which hiring companies are asking on demand.As of now I am learning HTML,CSS in my extra classes which is not in syllabus of my semester exams.

I'm in first semester of my BTech programme.As of now I'm not in any Internship programmes but in our WhatsApp groups our teachers always send application links for internship opportunities. So decent opportunities are available for internships but they want to you to be skilled.

The students get to sit in placements after 6th semester. So far as of my knowledge Accenture,TCS and other companies etc.. The highest package since my arrival to this college is 24lpa and the average package lies around 5.5 to 6 lpa.The percentage of students getting placed in this college is around 40%. I plan to go for Masters degree after my graduation here.

The total tution fees I pay per year is 150000 and almost 1lakh rupees for hostel ,finally on an average every person have to pay a minimum of 2.5 lakhs per year including hostel fees and all,there will be scholarship opportunities for relaxing the burden of our fees one of the scholarship is sibling scholarship that is if your sibling had studied in Parul in the past you get concession on percentage basis.

Everyone one should know that Parul University does extra curricular events and activities in a grand manner. Every day some activity will be going on and every week or a month there would be an event. University has its open theatre inside campus.

The hostel facility is very good the rooms are well maintained and the workers come and clean rooms everyday .I stay in hostel inside the campus and the registration fee for any hostel is 10000 which will be included in the total hostel fee.The mess food is good but you get bored of it after some weeks , comeon it's not that bad you get this feeling in every other hostel too ,so basically the food preparation quality and the taste are up to the mark .

I applied for VIT through the board percentage of my grade 12.I got admission in VIT bhopal but my parents denied it and anyway the college is recently built and is also under construction, the reason why I chose this college is because of its connections and resources. If we use them to our potential there are plenty of chances to crack something big.

The faculty to student ratio is I think approximately around 1:20.The faculty to student relations are quite good we can reach out to them easily.The college conducts a Mid-semester exam in the 3rd month of the semester and the final exams at the end.

The gym is available inside the campus.If we stay in hostels inside the campus we will be allowed to be out till 9:30.There are many canteens ,cafes and hangout places that you can't even count them. Almost everyone in the campus goes for a walk inside after having dinner.The safety of the students inside the college is very high as I mentioned there would be guards everywhere.
