Life in JU

My course was bachelors in computer science Engineering. In my first year it included basic learning of C++ language ,python and java another common subjects like chemistry and Engineering mathematics. In second year there was focus on latest success in algorithms and other subjects like computer networks and SEPM. In third year we were taught about advance data structures in algorithms and also advanced Java, subjects like flat and COD were taught. The in term exams happen every 2 months, then there is a final endterm exams. Difficulty level is moderate.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. The mass recruting .companies that visited us were, aur lti mind tree, Capgemini , Accenture. These offered packages between 4 to 6 lacks. Other companies that visitor campus was Amazon and watch guard,hpe. The highest package of 17.5 lakhs by HPE. Around 90% of the students have been placed. I plan on knowing doinga decent 9 to 5 job for sometime, till I come up with my own startup.

The yearly fees that I pay, including hostel is Rs/-265000, which includes: Semester fees- Rs/-82500 Hostel fees- Rs/-10000 No scholarship Scholarship is given on the basis of your 12th percentage. 15%-75 or above 20%-85 or above 25%- 95 or above

The Overall infrastructure of the university is very. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. There are regular jamming sessions and cyphers conducted by students as fun activities. The main technocultural event, the takes place on a large scale is day JU rhythm. It has 100 + events from various fields including sports cultural and technical events.. majorly they are being 5 sports being played in the university. Football ,American football, cricket ,basketball and badminton. There are various clubs and social groups run by students like ashayein and the blood donation club, j u eagles sports club, Swarag the music club, and quintessence the dance club. They help in over all personality and character development of the students.

The rooms are of thre types Non AC 4 seater -130000 Non AC 3 seater 150000 AC 3 seater 170000 One flat has 4/3separate rooms, a common hall and one late bath. Size of the room is 10*12. Meal qualities quite nice, in the menu is updated regularly on student reviews.

Applied in Arya College of Engineering, Vivekanand global University and SKIT. The main reason for me not making it in the above mentioned colleges, was many unavailability of seats. JECRC University had available seat at the time. Also I like the infrastructure the sports facilities, and I heard about the cultural and technical events that happen on the regular basis.

Faculty student ratio 17:1, there are 17000 students in the university currently and around the 1000 teachers, including the head of departments. All faculties are mostly very cooperative and they didn't have any problem in last 4 years. There are basically three exams in semester. Two Midterm exams and final endterm exams. On an average around 10% students failed to clear the exams. The course is very relevant to the curriculum.

My favourite hangouts pot is in Central lawn, which is just in front of the main gate of the university. Campus timings are from morning 8:00 a.m. to evening 8:00 p.m. hostel timing for boys are 6:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. For girls are 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.. It is mostly safe to roam outside the university, generally.
