Placement Experience

0.5

Placements and job opportunities are really nice as Goldman Sachs comes to our college almost every year and people without back logs can easily apply. It's an amazing opportunity for students from jyoti nivas to build a career

College Events

2.5

We have sports day, food fests, dance programs, assembly ever morning, fests like scintillation and Artemis. students from various colleges come and participate here.we also have cultural programmes and inter college fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite reasonable and affordable. As the fee structure is decided depending on the comfort and the coarse of the student.it's not that expensive as a whole it's quite manageable.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is scholarship given for those whose academic performance is above 80% throughout the year and they also provide loan facility for those who are not able to pay the entire fee at the time.they are granted permission to pay the fees in 2 semester installments.

Campus Life

0.5

The extracurricular activities like sports field and other activity set ups like the ground is quite huge and clean with a huge badminton and basket ball court.also the labs ate quite neat and clean with all the required tools in all the labs of the college.they are located at easy and findable location

The hostel is quite big and the students are at their comfort level.as they have the freedom to eat the food of their choice atleast every Friday, the food is quite healthy and also the students get to watch a movie of their choice every Friday.sisters in the hostel are very friendly and helpful

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini network isn't really provided to the juniors as such but the seniors are also quite friendly and helpful as they help and seek help from others and guide the juniors throughout their journey in jyoti nivas college which is a great thing.

Exam Structure

There are normal tests, then mid sem exams and finally semester exams.the examiner's examine the student's by checking them during the exams if they r carrying any cheating material or not. Overall the exams procedure isn't that lengthy.

Admission

I got through the interview rounds it's not that lengthy as a process. When I had been for the interview I wasn't asked much questions also the teachers there clearly explain about the college and the coarse in detail which makes it easier for the student to decide the coarse.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.
