College Events

There are various programs and events conducted here. All major festivals are given importance in the college and programs according to the festivals are conducted. Also, there are groups like brain stress which conducts programs which are aiming to develop the brains and make us up to date with general knowledge.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is a PTA fee at the beginning and exam fees throughout the year. And there are no other fees. Also, there are canteen and hotels near the college and for those who want to eat and drink they can also go there. The canteen provides meals and other dishes

Campus Life

All the co-curricular activities are very strictly conducted. There is NCC and NSS groups for those who strive to treat others and for good wellbeing. Sports is also the main part of this college like football, cricket, basketball etc have equal importance. The college life for me is excellent.

Admission

I got admission through 'Ekajalakam'. I got 70% marks in +2 and I applied for this college online with the help of the internet cafe. Then the college principal called and took an interview. And all the other process wasn't done. I opted for Bsc physics and started the class. class time begins at 9:30am-3:30pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chemistry is one of the main subject in whole science and it contains practical along with theory.I preffered this subject because I don't really into bookish learning.It offers skilled learning also.Exam timing was relevant for a paper 2.30 hours and 60 marks for main subject and 80 mark for language.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. Our college has the best placement cell in kerala. Around 30% students are placed each year in our college. Companies like federal bank, infopark invites students from our college for their interviews. The degree mark is not considered, all we have to is just pass the subject and obey the rules of the placement cell.

I choose this course because it is rare and it have high potential in national as well international level. But in this college they don't have enough facilities to teach so it won't prepare a student for real-world application. They should include seperate good lab facilities for environmental studies,need permanent teachers and placement activities should be provided.
