True review of hbtu kanpur

See i choose electronics engineering because of its wide scope in future. Since the future industries are of semiconductor so it will provide us with great opportunities in future. The curriculum in the first year is not good means first year syllabus doesn't prepare you for the industry level expertise but rest year course provide releavant subjects. 1st year course should be updated since the subjects we are taught are not at all releavant at the industry field so it should definitely get updated. Exam at first semester occur at an interval of 1 month 2 midsem and end sem are there in one semester. Midsem consist of 15 marks and end sem consists of 50 marks and 20 marks are of internal. Overall difficulty level of exam is easy to moderate.

Internship culture is not well in our college. Mainly msme stipend are provided. And mainly students apply for internship from themselves only as the college does not provide good internship opportunities.

Placement is decent.some branches placement percentage is 100? also . But average placement percentage of all branches is 60-70%. From 4th year student become eligible for placement. Companies visited are tcs, samsung, wipro etc. Highest package is 44lpa oncampus and 60lpa offcampus.

?135000 per year is the college fees ?75000 is the tution fees, 5000 caution fees, 10000 registration ,examination and certification fees, 30500 is facility fees, 3000 is medical fees, training and placement fees is 4000,activity charges are 3000,university alumini fund is 1500,student aid fund is 1500 and miscellaneous fees is 1500. ?if any one have fee waiver seat then its tuition fees becomes zero. ?they provide up government scholarship for student having income less than 2.5 lakh.

Campus life is decent. The fest actually which is famous here is sports fest named as aagaz. Annual fest is not taking place here from the previous 2 years. Facilities in terms of sports is average. Large no. Of clubs are here which is of music, dance, sports, communication.

Hostel facilities are average. In room you are provided with one bed, table , chair and almirah. Meal quality is not good. Drinking water is provided with tap builted with filtration system. Registration process is from hbtu website.

Yeah i chose for this college because at this rank i was getting this best possible college. I applied for iet lucknow also but in alumini network wise this college is better than iet lucknow. Admission process is form jee mains exam. Eligibility is min. 60% in board exam and jee mains qualified

Faculties are good. Faculty to student ration is 1:70.faculties do hear the problems of student except some of them. My favorite faculty is of CS. she is very supporting and understanding. I personaly don't like the ict faculty. There are three exams in one semester. Midsem 1,Midsem 2 and End sem. Papers levels are easy to moderate.

Nightlife is mostly goes in hostel only since in first year we are not allowed to go out after 9pm.but hostel life is full of enjoyment. Gym is basically in west campus it is free. Total canteens in our colleges are 4.it is open till 6pm.library closing and opening times are 7:30pm and 8:30 am.
