Likes
- Professors are very knowledgeable and they are very hardworking. They make sure that each and every students have clarity in all topic.
- College curriculum includes weekly tests and also provide workbooks which helps us in preparing for sessionals and end sem exams from the very beginning. Also campus is average but not bad we can enjoy their with our loved ones i.e, our friends.
- Every post is easily approachable for every student as we can easily dean or director or hod or registrar for any issues.
Dislikes
- College schedule is very hectic. It is very difficult to manage one after one weekly tests and sessionals. And because of this schedule we don't get time to get involved in extra curricular activities.
- They don't organize fests that can give break to students but from this year they are trying to organize fests. So, we hope that they will try to organize more fest in the upcoming years so that we can enjoy our college life.
- The major issue is compulsory 85% attendance criteria
Course Curriculum Overview
This curriculum is very good in terms of relevance as they make us industry ready they covered core ideas and also by providing industry collaboration. The frequency and timing of exams is okayish as they are not that much difficult because we have to prepare one or two units a time.
Fees and Financial Aid
In first year we paid 179000 and rest of the three year we will be paying approx 155000. but for students from direct admission pays approx 150000/yr Merit scholarship provided to students who excelled in jee mains and state board exams. Scholarship to sportsman of college and university Scholarship to students from economically weaker section Scholarship for students of special category There are many other scholarships. And for getting this scholarship we just need to fill forms,submit documents,and provide them proper documents for proof.
Campus Life
The main fest they organize is jagmag held in oct-nov. Their are many different clubs for cultural activities sports group several tech clubs photography clubs and many other clubs for each and every talent in NIET They organize many cultural activities,and many hackathons and other activities.
Admission
I applied for different private colleges in banglore and greater noida in which i was getting confirmed admission. Obviously i did think of other colleges like iits,iisc and nits but did not make their because of personal family problems i wasn't able to perform good in jee. But i chose NIET above any other private colleges beacuse the quality of education NIET provide at this low fee as we all know that fee of other private university has very high tution fee.
Faculty
The faculty_to_student ratio is very good there are many faculties for every subjects. They are easily approachable even easier than approaching our school teachers during our school life. I really like Nafees siddique sir he is proffesor of engineering mathematics he is very knowledgeable and he is very dedicated in teaching he make sure that every student will get above average marks. There is no any faculty whom i don't like as i m in my 1st year. There are three sessionals and two weekly tests for each subjects and one end semester exam every semester. Course curriculum is relevant to course and their teaching technique is very good and helpful.
Night Life
There is library,stationary and also canteen in our campus. Canteen of our campus stays open for complete college hours and they provide really good snacks. I did not live college hostel so i did not know that much about that but my friend lives in college hostel so according to her hostel is really good. But we have really good places to hangout with our friends.
