Better to be in VVIT

Only thing I make sure is that VVIT is the best college in this region of guntur and krishna. only remark is that students feel that they are in another high school as there are strict rules in college.

The course curriculum is proposed by the JNTUK, as VVIT is under JNTUK it follows the jntuk curriculum.In curriculum we are having six subjects for every semester and we are having total eight semesters in course period. Along with the core subjects the curriculum also have management subjects.

Yes, VVIT encourages it's student's to have a practical exposure to the bookish knowledge. In that regard our college management allows students to do internships with various core companies.I did my internship with EFFTRONICS pvt Ltd. They are doing most of the railways projects. I did my internship in how the project components are integrated and how projects tested. And I am currently doing another internship with ITC.

Not because I am student of VVIT but it is true that my college is providing 80% placements.Most of the placement jobs are from top MNC's. Either it is ON-campus or OFF-campus the no.of students selected from VVIT is more than any other regional colleges.

VVIT is progressive because it not only concentrating on marks but also encouraging the students in allround development.college provide various clubs like dancing , singing, marshal arts, social awareness etc (total of 15 clubs) where students can participate in their intrested clubs. The events celebrating in college are college fest sportsday theatreday teacherday newyear semichristmas sankranthi sambaralu farewell anniversary

At the time of my joining the college fee is 50,900/- in which state government gives scholarship of 35,000/-. After all deductions a student have to pay 15,900/-. And additional 12000/- for bus fee.

Out of all the college fee every student who got 10000 rank in EAMCET are getting total fee reimbursement from government. And students who got above 10000 rank and below the the college cutoff rank are getting 35000 as fee reimbursement.

As college provides a variety of the clubs, Every friday afternoon session is meant for extracurricular activities. The labs in our college are very well equipped with high precision instruments. Sports are highly encouraged in VVIT kabbadi, cricket, volleyball,basketball,co-co and athletics.

Since I am a day scholar, I am not too much aware of the hostel. But from the friends who were residing in hostel I came to know that college in no where look back to provide best infrastructure to students.

Even from the first year there are good relationships developed between seniors and juniors in every department. Some times faculty members provides the details of the students who are successfully leading their job in various MNC's. Really seniors are very helpful.

The exam structure is also provided by JNTUK. For each semester we are having two mid term exams and final semester exams. Out of two mid exams best of two is considered. And each mid is for total 30 marks (15 marks for descriptive , 10 marks for online bits and 5 marks for assignments). Semester exam is for 70 marks descriptive.

After 12th class I attended EAMCET exam and got good rank.Through my EAMCET rank I got admission in VVIT. After getting rank in entrance exam I attended the counselling. In counselling I got my certificates verified by the counselling staff and after that I applied for colleges online and got admission in VVIT.

In VVIT all the teaching faculty are well experinced. In every department we are having a minimum of 4 PHD holders. Even the assistant proffessor's are minimum of 5 years experienced people. In VVIT faculty development programs are held once in every 6 months.
