Course Curriculum Overview

3

I had chosen physics hons. as i like physics subject and also i am very week in chemistry so didn't chose it. Curriculum is very good the first and second sem of physics is like extended version of class 12th with some extra topics. Exams happens every sem it is like in a year you would give 4 time exams two time mid sem and two times end sem for first and second semester.

Internships Opportunities

3

Many companies physics wallah akash unacademy they all have came for placement in education field. And also they are many companies which come for placement of computer hons. students and their is no eligibility just you had that basic degree and good cgpa and have to clear the interview

Placement Experience

3

After 6th sem and also some in 5th sem students start getting internship particularly of computer Hons. Students. My plan after i hadn't think of anything so i couldn't say. And mainly the companies visit here are from edtech backgrounds.

Fees and Financial Aid

So when i had took admission in BHU the fee of my first year was 3200rs around of general category of course B.Sc. (hons.). Then in 2nd sem i had paid 325rs which is same for every even semester. Then in 2nd year 3rd sem i had paid 2121rs and again in 4th sem same 325rs fees. Now i had paid 1956rs for 5th sem and similarly in 6th sem i had paid 325rs

Campus Life

3

Good . Every Faculty like faculty of science faculty of arts have their own fest. The best fest is of IIT BHU (Kashiyatra) but free for only IIT BHU students not free for BHU students. Our institute of science have akansha fest . This all fests are held annually specially in December and January month. Their are also clubs but nor work like that much efficiently or properly as very few students have interest in it i am saying this about institute of science

Admission

I had chosen it has you BHU nirf ranking is very good then other uni or colleges and also it was very close to my house. To take admission in BHU you had to give CUET exam for both ug and pg courses which is held by NTA. Eligibility for B.Sc. is just you have your class 12th from science background and nothing else

Faculty

3

The faculty members of BHU are from very good background. Many professors had teaching here from like more then 20 years and many of them had done very good in their field. Faculty members of physics department are like around 50. Some examples like Prof. B.P. Mandol he is gold medalist in B.Sc. M.Sc. and is a member of many physics project and he is teaching from 20 years in BHU. Prof. H.P. Sharma is also very good but in physics practical he is just rude very rude he likes only those answers which he knows otherwise if you giving correct answer then also he would say no it is wrong and my 4th sem viva he literally said me that are you from Bihar as i wasn't able to answer few questions so like their is perception in him that the Biharis are not that well in B.Sc. . There are many incidents which i could say but leave it. Exam patterns are like their would happen mid sem or sessional whatever you say of 30 marks and after it would happen end sem of 70 marks in every semester.

Night Life

4

Night life of BHU is awesome. Whole BHU campus is best for hangout or to roam with friends at night. Their are many famous place like madhuban park central library of bhu and Vishwanath Temple of BHU. Their is ground of every institute or faculty and also gym approx well equipped.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Physics)

The BHU is very close to my home so I had chosen it

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
