Remarks

The college has many positive aspects as mentioned earlier but looking towards the negative things the college needs to work on their infrastructure a little more and even they need to work more on the other possible things

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is covered under Calcutta University so it's the same whereby I am doing b.com honours The exam pattern is also good as it doesn't pressurize students as it conducts only 2 exam that is one internal and the other the main CU exam

Placement Experience

The college provides internship but that depends on your capabilities and other traits that one possess they provide you a wide range to outrage and prove yourself and then one gets the desired internship and regarding the stipend structure that completely depends on the company

College Events

The college celebrates almost each and every event and that too in a grand way be it the college freshers the farewell the alumni day founder day women day hindi day and all the other events like sports day inter college events

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible only if you think according to a private college manner otherwise it is quite expensive for one like for each semester the fees is around 23000 which is only for a 6 month period

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarship to meritorious students who are capable enough of such like if the student has secured good marks and is good in studies as well then one gets scholarship and in case of loan that is not known

The college has high maintained labs and specialised room for certain sports activities the labs are well equipped with all the essential and the sports room are maintained and hygienic the ground is also looked after

Yes they all are helpful and hardworking as well a student as and when in need can just ask them for their help and they are ready to give you the best possible help they can. We are lucky enough that we have got the best ppl

I filled the online application and then a merit list was published under certain criteria and then I got selected after which we were called in the college on a particular date where we had to complete our other proceedings

The college faculty is excellent be it the teacher or the staff they do their duty in the best possible way and keep up with the college security as well. There is high maintainance regarding everything which is taken care off

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

The application form is available on the college website and every other detail regarding fees and application date is available there.
