College is good. You get to explore yourself which is a great thing. You get to make yourself better with time. You learn self management and learn to improve. Yes, the drainage system is not that great, whenever there is downpour In the campus. Walking b

I was a student of science stream with Maths and Biotech subjects along with the compulsory PCE. I was fond of Biotech subject, it always interested me towards the world of possibilities. You may say lack of carrier Council, or my inability to ask for good colleges to adults, but I don't know that IIT had BTECH-BIOTECH and the realisation was just too late. I never took coaching classes for JEE-MAINS, just gave the exam casually although I have a mind to solve aptitude questions. I knew that I'm not going to score very high since I didn't prepare as much as what many people do( I didn't want to go IIT). I got 82 marks which was fine for me. I was looking for colleges with BTECH-BIOTECH, which was hard to find, good colleges were in other states for which parents didn't allow. Then I found Amity University, Noida on the Internet which had my subject and it was far enough for me to reach. I also gave exam of IP University but they had limited seats which was very hard to get. The dates were closing for most of colleges so I just filled the form of this college. The process is nice and easy, you fill a form online and submit it or you can print the form to courier it. Then you will get a email to the email id provided in the form about further process about interview at the college. You need to go to the college for that purpose. You get a entry pass in the email and it's printout is needed to get entry to college. You can take your parents with you(I had my father with me). We reached the college and then we saw a great queue of students there, long-long multiple queues. Then parents are taken to different area and students go in to the building, we had thumb print scan two times in different rooms. Then you enter into an auditorium where lot of students sit. They ask students to write an essay (I guess just to keep us busy), after that they start calling out names for then students go the interview room, two interviewers for a student. They ask questions related to the subject you have chosen. My case was different as people taking BTECH-BIOTECH generally were the students who had biology with them. I didn't know much of details of the topics but it went fine. See, the interview is just a step you have to do and there is nothing more than that. All students are selected for sure(unless the seats are there), as it's a private college. You then get an admission letter in email about further things like fees structure and payment modes and necessary things like affidavits and mark sheet that is we need to follow. For registration we have to go to college, they check all things are included or not and then all is done.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college has a lot of courses to offer for vast number of students. I was amazed to see so much courses you could choose from. There are a lot of faculties for so many courses and so many subjects. For the faculties, you see a wide variety and that you can see in every other institution. Some are simple and sober, some are fashionable. Some are sweet and supportive while some are rude and not that supportive but that is what you find everywhere and we need to get along with that, we should try to be nice to everyone of them and try to gain most from what they teach us.
Internships Opportunities
I haven't been into such thing for now and that will take about one more year for me to get that experience. No plans for that thing for now. Different companies come for such process and the particular stipend for the particular interns must be ample for the students I suppose.
Placement Experience
The University has good placements and job opportunities and this is mentioned on the university website also. Many companies come for placements, since I'm only a second year student so I don't know much about it until I'm self capable fo sitting in one such placement but I have seen some companies like Accenture, Fiat and Chevrolet etc coming for placements. This should not be the case with my subject since Biotechnology is an emerging sector and there are companies hiring people but the number is still less and competition increases every time since many students even from different subject would be trying for in-campus placements.
College Events
Many events are held in college and events vary from clubs and committees organising them. Technical club organises mindful and tactful challenging events, art club organises art related events and so on. While many events are held at time which suits all but still main grand events are held in the evening and me being a day-scholar couldn't enjoy eventsevents like cultural events for coming up festivals. The latest events were for celebrating DUSSEHRA and DIWALI, recently Salman Khan and Sonum Kapoor came for promoting their film. We also will be having Amity Youth Fest 2016, one of the biggest event of Amity with star night.
Fee Structure And Facilities
This is a private college and the fees is high as expected. It is really expensive. For any Btech course the fees per semester is over One lakh and the fees increase every semester by upto a small fraction. Then you have 3C programs with Btech where in 8th semester you are taken abroad for training and exposure (3 Continents) but that single semester would cost upto 8 lakh or so and the travelling and staying expenses are not included. I didnt apply for that because that costs a shit load of money that I just can't afford.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarship and loan facilities available. Loan facilities are available from the Banks nearby like OBC and Allahbad in Noida which provides loans for Amity students and nominal rates. Scholarships are there but I couldn't avail that as my marks are not that High. Only about 3 students or so from a course with best marks can avail it after interviews and other things. That is when you have entered in the college. Before coming to college you still can apply for scholarships on the basis of your 12th class board performance. For 93% and above you get 100% scholarship and for 82%above you get 50% scholarship in Noida some Amity University provides 25% scholarship but not in Noida.
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome, some of my friends say that. They get to spend time with each other and all that stuff they can do being together is a great thing until they are on good track. Like previously said you have lot of events and activities to take part in and for that there are clubs ad committees organising them. You can have debates in seminars and a lot of extra-curricular things keep happening around. They all are good but you need to make out time for them between your studies. You can join Sangathan which organises sports competition between different courses.
Hostel Facilities
I'm a day-scholar and fine with that. Although, having quick access to college library and you can get back to your room in less time so time is not wasted much. The hostel are shared and boys and girl hostel are different. Non ac hostel would cost around
Alumni/Alumna
You have orientation to attend in auditoriums where lot of Amity passouts come and share there experience. We even got to attend one with some great people of Amity. That all thing is intriguing. Our seniors are nice but not all of them. There are bad sheeps in the group always. But overall everything was fine.
Exam Structure
Not every time, but only few times that happened when you have a major exam in morning and then a lab exam in evening and then again an exam the next day, which was very hectic for students. But this third semester we have exams from 20th Nov and we are g
