Remarks
Positive is its climate,staffs, infrastructure. Negative is silly rules. Mobile phones are allowed and we are free to use except in classes. Aroma is also an advantage were good food is provided for us.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is updated every year based on industry trends and needs. The updated course curriculum will help students in their placement also. Staffs are trained for such curriculum and they are highly modernised.
Internships Opportunities
Yes. If you are selected in a company and its gives you internship and college will surely encourage that internship. I'm in present third year and I'm yet to attend placements and I haven't attended any internship yet.
Placement Experience
Placements are excellent. Product company's visit is an extra advantage for SKCT. Companies hiring students by now a days are high. Placement cell in our college helps us lot to get into a good company with highly paid salary. Intership is also provided in SKCT. Highly paid salary is 11-12 lakh per annum.
College Events
Every year a national level technical symposium is being conducted (AVANTAA). Campus is always busy with high connectivity. Other than that teachers day will be celebrated. Pongal celebration will be conducted. As it is near Kerala Onam will also be celebrated in a grand manner.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees will be collected as per government norms. Scholarship will also be eligible for government quota students. Management quota students will have to pay a quite huge amount without any scholarship.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, scholarship is given for government quota students as per government norms. Loans are also accepted by our college. Management students won't get any scholarship as known to me. College won't offer any loan but it will accept all loans facility.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities will be conducted every day evening by first year students. certificate will be provided for that. Labs are highly modernised and fully digitalized one with WiFi and net connectivity.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is with 24/7 wifi facilities. Separate hostel for boys and girls. SKCT has a food court and several others shops. Hostel room is shared between 4 members and hostel is also fully wifi-ed. Good atmosphere is maintained in hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. Every year alumni meet will be conducted and we meet all our alumni there. We get chance to interact with them during webinars and workshops. They guide us a lot and help us to get placed in a very good company
Exam Structure
As of exam is considered 2 internals will be conducted and finally a model exam will be conducted for every subject.Exam questions are all higher order thinking only. No direct questions will be asked.Semester exam will be quite difficult and the standard of questions will be good.
Admission
I was planning to join in medical college. I applied for Anna University counselling. With my cut off marks 183.25 I got seat in Sri Krishna College of Technology. B.Tech IT department.Then i entered SKCT with huge expectation and it is fulfilled.
Faculty
Staffs are very friendly and highly knowledgeable. It has a very good industry exposure. The main strength of SKCT is our staffs. They guide us and they are our backbone. They give us full freedom and flexibility.
