I had been admitted through IPU-CET-2014 and I scored rank of 22270. I choose this college over other colleges as it was the Govt. College of NCT of Delhi, Reviews and feedbacks from the college students were good and moreover its fees only costs Rs. 35000 per year only. Any private/govt. college generally charges more than Rs. 80000 per year for the technical degrees hence this college was among my priority list.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is satisfactory as the faculty team comprises of faculties having experience of teaching of more than 10 years while few faculies are younger and having lesser experiences of teaching. Putting just learning technical things aside, as far as research and knowledge are concerned the college shares upto mark faculties along with latest equipments of the concerned research fields.
Internships Opportunities
The companies visiting the campus every year includes TCS, Accenture, Samsung, Infosys, IBM, HCL and many more offering the average package of around 3.70 lpa. Highest package ranges up to 12-14 lpa.
Placement Experience
Placement percentage of the campus is 105% (students having more than 1 offers of job) of the students whoever meet the minimum eligibility for sitting in placement drive criteria of the visiting companies.
College Events
College is quite active in organising the technical, sports and cultural festivals and events. The college organises Taraangana - Cultural Festival, AOSM - Annual Sports Meet event, Technical events, and many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The campus has no hostel and mess facility of its own, but the PGs are available near by college within 2 mins walk to 2 kms from college at the rent of Rs. 4000-8000 per month.
Fees and Financial Aid
As the college is owned by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, all the the scholorships offerd by the govt. are applicable in the college which includes Post Metric Scholorships for SC/ST/OBC, Merit Scholorships for SC/ST/OBC, Economically Weaker Section(EWS) Scholorships, etc. which can be applied directly right from the college. The college readily approves any of the scholorship schemes offered the govt. and other financing authorities without any hassle in its procedure.
Campus Life
Gender ratio ranges from 1 girl : 20 boys to 1 girl : 10 boys in B.tech. M.tech, Ph.D students shares a good number of girls to boys ratio but in B.tech it is quite lesser. College has its own mini auditorium for the cultural activites and workshops which are regularly held in the college which includes Ethical Hacking, Robotics, MATLAB, Coding Competitions, etc. There is no descrimination among the students regarding their caste, creed or religion. Everybody shares good friend circle regardless of any economic, political, social background.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network/Senior Students is appreciable in the college campus as they regularly interact with the Students either through social media or in person whenever there is need of their interference in any field. Few of the students have been placed in foreign countries for the jobs or reasearch works and they keep sharing their personal experience and tips regularly to the college students.
