The fees for any B.tech stream at MIT Manipal ranges somewhere between Rs 1300000-2100000. The year wise distribution of the fees for B.tech Mechanical is as follows:- 1st year- 335000/- 2nd year- 431000/- 3rd year- 431000/- 4th year- 431000/- The total fees amounts to Rs1628000/- There is no management quota or cast based reservation at MIT Manipal but if you rank among the top 100 in the Manipal entrance test, you do get a scholarship

There are two major annual fests organised by the college- Tech tatva- It is technical fest with numerous events like hackathons, robo wars and other technical events that student can take a part in. Revels- It is the annual cultural fest with concerts, model ramp, talk shows, standup comedy shows and a lot of other events lined up

The hostels at MIT are actually quote nice. The facilites provided in the room are an attached bathroom, AC, a personal study table, wardrobe amd a dressing area. The quality of food at the mess in MIT is good. They provide four meals in a day which include Breakfast, lunch, hi tea and dinner

I chose MIT Manipal over any other college that was available to me because for my particular stream, this college has world class faculty and uncountable resources like testing laboraties and ongoing campus projects. The standards of mechanical engineering at MIT Manipal are at par with NIT's. The college was established in 1957 with civil and mechanical engineering as the only courses

The faculty at MIT are highly trained with most of them having a teaching experience of more than 10 years and almost every faculty in my stream has a phd in some or the other fields of mechanical engineering. They are absolutely supportive but also strict and particular when it comes to academics and attendance. The examination structure is as follows:- Mid-term exam:- 30 marks, 120 minutes Assignments/quiz:- 20 marks, students have to submit assignments on a portal before the deadline End-sem exam:- 50 marks, 180 mins

Yes, MIT Manipal conducts an online mode entrance exam test at variuos exam centers all over the world. The exam is conducted out of 170 marks with Ohysics, Chemistry and Mathematics having a weightage of 40 marks each and 25 marks for english and logical reasoning. The syllabus for the same is same as that for JEE

The college has a lot to offer when it comes to extracurricular activities. It has a world class fitness center named Marena where they have facilities like gym, badminton, tennis, swimming, basketball, boxing and squash.
