BSc honor(Computers) is a course having a total duration of 3 years which I have pursued. The course taught us about the theoretical foundation of information and computation and practical techniques and its uses in computer systems.

Placement Experience

Placement of the college is provided by the career counseling cell present in the college. They guide students about the interviews, aptitude tests, group discussions to get more and more placement opportunities.

College Events

Rath Yatra, College Foundation Day, Independence Day Celebration, Calcutta University Foundation Day, Birthday Celebration of Swami Vivekanand are some name of the events which are celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the course of BSc in computers is very low. The fee charged by the college is around 2200 rupees per year as the main fee but except this college also takes rupees 1500 for the labs.

Located in at the heart of Howrah, the college is accessible by bus and train both, the railway station is at the walking distance and the college also has the hostel facility, gym facility, all are available for students.

The college has alumni association team which organizes alumni meet every year where all the alumni meet and reunite and share their experience and job opportunities.

Placement Experience:

1 internship company came for bca course forgot the name which was unpaid. 3-4 companies came for placement but only 1 out 26 students got placed. Companies like TCS, wipro, cognizant didn't came. Although they will give email for those companies.

Budget Best College For Students in Sonarpur

Placement Experience:

Mostly what i know, from 7th or 8th semester the students are eligible for the campus placements. Wipro, TCS, etc are the companies who come to recruit students from this college. The highest package is like 15 LPA, the average package is around 6-8 LPA. 50-60% of students get placement. After the degree, if i get the job i would like to purse MCA, while doing my job.

Company visited there like wipro,Infosys,airtel,accenture ,appolo hospitals etc. Avg. package:- 2.5 LPA & Good package :- 3-4 LPA About 30-45% get placed . so, I have plan to improve skills and knowledge to seeks better job in better companys

- The BCA cirrcuam at THE HERITAGE ACADEMY covers fundamental programming, Database management, and web development which are essential for a career in IT. - The syllabus is moderately relevant but some topics feel outdated. While programming and project based learning help in skill building more industry oriented course like AI, cloud computing, and Data science should be include. - Areas for improvement 1.more hands on training and internship opportunity should be introduced 2.Some subject focus too much on theory rather than practical application 3.Advanced technologies and industry trends should be integrated into the syllabus.
