- The college environment is really good with a canteen, football ground, basketball court, badminton court, place to rest for sometime with amazing infrastructure.
- Teaching facilities are improved on yearly basis amazing professors, better modern class facilities, library facilities, more patients to work on to improve our skills, and free wifi for online classes, camps are conducted at different localities.
- College has lot of extracurricular activities including festivals, intercollege programs, sports programs and activities, blood camps.
Dislikes
- Increase in hostel fees almost every year along with some special fees
- Management provide low quality food most of the time.
Course Curriculum Overview
Thes best part ofthe curriculum is that we get to practise and educate on patients from 3rd year and that made me to select the course. This course really helpful when it comes to prepare us for the real world application on clinics and hospitals. The exams are 3 hours long with 2 long essays for 10 marks each , 4 short essays for 5 marks each and 10 short notes for 3 marks each. Getting 35 on 70 would make one pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is provided by the college for 1 year after completing the course, a stipend of Rs 6,500 is given every month. At intership students are taken to camps in different localities every week. No projects are given OPs of the patients are taken by the inters everyday.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees payed is Rs 3,21,000 as tuitions fees, hostel fees is yearly Rs 47,500, special fees taken from college every year Rs 32,000.These are for those who got in merit quota. Those who got in management quota pays yearly tuitions fees of Rs 6,21,000 along with hostel fees of Rs 47,500 and special fees of Rs 32,000. Students under reservation gets scholarship of the entire yearly tuition fees.
Campus Life
The college program events are really great every year inter college festival is conducted in the name of inter dents which included arts and sports event lasting for 4 day almost. There is an intracollege arts and sports festival which last for 4 days. Our college conducts various flashmob programs on malls, bus stand for public awareness. Sports activities are well offered in college with football ground, basketball ground, badminton court and permission to play at anytime of the day. There are a lot of clubs run by the students including sports club, music club, movie club etc.
Admission
The main factor for choosing this college was the fact that it's better in terms of education from other colleges.This was the only college I opted for.To get admission a good rank in NEET is helpful, there are no eligibility exams for admission. Apart from everything this college provide the best patient experience than any other colleges in private sector as I'm aware of.
Faculty
Many of the facilities in the college are really approachable at every situations. The facilities -student ratio for each department is 8:60, the best department is orthodontics department the facilities are so helpful with smiling faces. The exams are yearly based 1st year exam, 2nd year exam, 3rd year exam, 4th year part A and Part B exams. Almost every year 90 percent of the students manage to pass the exam.
Night Life
Night life in the region is not that great. We have different timings for girls hostel and mens hostel. Mens hostel timing is till 10pm Girls hostel time is till 7pm The canteens are available only to 4 pm. There is KFC resturant and chicking in around 5 km distance.
