REC is the amongst 7 government engineering college of M.P.It is very reputed college of M.P. There are only 5 branches are available in REC. 1.civil 2.Mechanical 3.electronic communication 4computer science 5. Electrical. Administration of this college is bad.

Course curriculum is according to AICTE.This college is affiliated to RGPV Bhopal. Course curriculum meets industry demands.After Every semester college provides internship opportunity.Overall syllabus covers almost every topics of GATE and other Examinations.

Yes REC provides internship opportunity at end of every semester. They tied up with local firms and factories and send students there for internship duration of 15 days to 1 month. Some firms provides stipend but not all. I have done my 2 internship till now. In first year I did site supervision and surveying on field.I got stipend of 1.5k/week.

Placements was the matter of concern to this college. There was few companies which recruits students. But now a days placement scenario is increased. There are many companies which recruits student from REC on campus. Prism, jaypee, reliance , TCS are main recruiters. Avg. Package is about 3.5 lakhs for civil department. Many student choose option of higher studies and preparation of govt. Exams like ESE GATE PSU's Etc.

There are many events and fest are organized every year. Following are the list of events organized by different clubs -- 1.vindhya mahotsav( annual cultural fest) 2.spardha-(organized by sports club) 3.Pentaquest, hackathon-(organized by E-cell) 4.Abhivyakti-( literacy +drama club) 5.AARAMBH-(engineer's day event organized by technical club+Ecell+drama club)

Fee structure of REC is feasible. The annual fee is only 23.5k.the fees is very low because it is a government College.the fee is very low compared to other colleges. One can deposit the fee by installments i.e.before every semester or can deposit full year fee on starting of every year.

There are many scholarship schemes are available in college.Top 5 students of every branch get fee waivers. MMVY scholorship is given to students whose jee main rank is under 150000 and above75 % marks in 12th. Loans are available in campus. In campus of REC there is one SBI branch is situated.

There are many short term courses organized by institute like AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc. For extracurricular activities. Labs are average. The equipments and instruments are old. There is a E- library two central Library available in institute. A design lab and Microsoft lab is available at institute.

I am a day scholar. But I have visited hostel many times. There are 4 hostals Two hostals for boys and two for girls. Outsider students stay in hostels. There is no WiFi network available in hostels. Infrastructure of hostel is not up to date.The annual hostel fee is 7k And mess charge is 2k/month. Food is unhygienic and bad.

Alumni network of REC is very strong. They provide industry exposure to students.There are many faculties who are at elite posts in their respective fields. There is also a annual alumni meet organized in college. Seniors are really supportive and they always ready help junior in any problem.Senior junior relationship is a plus point of REC.

I got admission through JEE main entrance examination. I got 85 marks in JEE main. First I registered for DTE M.p. counselling. Then I was shortlisted for REC rewa civil engineering branch,then I got admitted in this college.

Two years ago this college was lacking of faculties. Only 45 faculties are there out of expected no. Of post of 90. But from year There are many faculties are recruited by MHRD through TEQIP-III project. They are highly qualified and best in their respective fields. There teaching techniques is very good.
