Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the university is different from the other universities as it teaches only the subjects which can help in getting a real world experience. The college can also remove the subject such as maths physics so as to include other subjects to get more curriculum advancements.
Internships Opportunities
The first internship is for your experience and the second intership which is the summer season is paid and the employee can get 30k to 40 k stipend. The projects you can build is a chat bot or something which is more demanding in the tech industry
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the college is something that it takes 1.2 lakh per sem and 2.4 lakh per year , the college also takes 40000 or less as transport fees which will be accordingly to your stop , mine was 42 kilometres from the college. There are no scholarship given from the college and the criteria for joining the college at b.e course was above than 70 percent in 12 th board .
Campus Life
The overall experience with the campus life is very exciting as the college keeps on conducting different fests and events for the students. There are also different clubs to join in our university such as acting, dancing , singing and so sports grounds for active enrollment of the students. The main Events of the college are the freshers, pitara nights and Christmas nights . Many talents people across the country come and entertain the students
Admission
I also applied for the other collages too some were very far away from my university and some were not so good to get addmission there , I had listened about chitkara from one of my relatives and got admission there . I loved the university campus and people here specially my friends. Yes , i also got rejected from other colleges due to my low percentage in class 12 th . The admission process to get in my course is above than 70 percentage in your 12 th boards and there is no any other tests to get in the college.
Faculty
There are more than 400 faculty members in the university. As my course was b.e in computer science so my exams were conducted 4 times in sem namely the sessional test 1 , 2 and 3 and the end term . The exams were at moderate level .
Interview Experience
Generally at the time of the placements the interviewer mainly focuses on the logical , reasoning rounds and also leetcode questions are asked by the interviewers . Firstly they conducts a coding round .
Night Life
I am a day scholar at Chitkara University but some of my friends are there in chitkara University and they tell me about the hostels in the chitkara , the university has a good hostels both with and without ac , Fully furnished and separate washrooms . So the children at night can have any type of the food in the cafeteria . The size of the cafeteria in chitkara is so good that a separate 3 storied building contain only the stalls and the food counters and any type of food is available there . Also a separate gym for the fitness lovers at the university.
