Vignan College Life

I am a student of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science branch. The reason behind choosing this branch is its advancement in future technology and increase in jobs in this sector. Coming to the cutoff, 14000 ranks in EAMCET is needed to opt for this branch. For CSE, you need around 10000 ranks. I had got 6432 rank but I chosen AI & DS branch instead of CSE because of the its boom in future and coming for exams. We will have 8 semesters. Time period of each semester may vary from 4 to 5 months as it depends on situation. I am very happy share to be part of this institute. We will be having coding competitions every week.I think the teaching should be far advancement because now a days we have pack job opportunities so placements should be from 2nd year 2nd semester and try to tell the company aspects to students this is my suggestion.

Companies that visit the campus during the drive are Cisco, Infosys, Akrivia HCM, Inncircles, Accenture, TCS, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, TATA, Dista, MyWays, etc. The average package will be 5.4 LPA and highest will be 36 LPA.These companies will off internship+job opportunity in their company stipend will ranging from 18k-25k.Cisco stipend Is the highest paid one ranging around 98k for the one who selected.Mainly in internship they are supposed to ask to do some tasks from reality.

Placements in VIIT Visakhapatnam are good as compared to other institutes. In our institute, 726 students were placed from the strength of total 1023 students this year. We have highest package of 36 LPA in CSE branch. In my branch, it has reached to 23 LPA by Cisco. Companies that visit the campus during the drive are Cisco, Infosys, Akrivia HCM, Inncircles, Accenture, TCS, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, TATA, Dista, MyWays, etc. The average package will be 5.4 LPA and highest will be 36 LPA. Coming to my placement, I have been in final rounds of 3 to 4 companies. They are Accenture, Akrivia, and MyWays. I am waiting for results. Although I have been selected in off campus interview.

I am from convener quota. For the convener students of 2021 batch, the fee will be Rs. 52,000 per year. Coming to 2023 batch, it will increase to Rs. 72,000 per year. If they are eligible according to government’s rules and regulations, government will pay this tuition fee. Additionally we have to pay library and lab fee of Rs. 2,350 per year and NBA fee of Rs. 10000 per year (for the branches who has NBA). Furthermore, CRT fee will be Rs. 16,000 for total 4 years.

We have lot of fun activities in the institute. We celebrate the fests and events on many occasions. ‘Yuvatarang’ is a major annual fest of the institute, which will be celebrated in 2 days. Thus, events have multiple events and stalls to have lot of fun. Institute will also organize Hackathon for the innovation ideas. We have good sports club as the institute encourage sports activities. Overall campus life is good.

Coming to room facilities we have 2BHK room near the college and we have 2 attached washrooms and one kitchen,two bedrooms,one hall and we kept wifi and header of hot water and also food is from catering which is about 2300-2500.The locality of my room is Near ark house,vuda colony,road number-1.There are lot of rooms available for the students of vignan.Coming for the quality of food it was nice.

We will be having coding competitions every week.For the admission into the college we have 3 ways one is Convenor quota,other one Category B quota these are about from Eamcet.Coming to third one is management quota it will be from student direct talk with institute.

Faculty of my branch in VIIT Visakhapatnam is good. They all are supportive and teach us diligently so that every student can pass in semester exams. Recently, we had achieved the best pass percentage in the institute, where139 students out of140 were passed in semester, and its credit goes to the hard work of the faculty members. Faculties will give their best to teach students so that they can reach their goals. I know every faculty. I have special bond with Gouri Sankar Nayak who was taught us for 3 semesters and is also placement coordinator of our branch.He doesn't show any partiality and Friendly with students.

Late night spots are many more in my life in college because we have taken room from 2nd year outside the college.It is very short distance from College.So me and my friends always used to play cricket in the ground and spend time around auditorium and also around school side in our campus.College timings will be 8am-3pm for 3rd and 4th year students and for 1st and 2nd year students it will be10am-5pm and coming for the hostel 9pm is the close time for outings.
