No negative remarks I can not give about this prestigious institution. This institution is good in every aspects, so I am not able to give any negative feedback about Krishnagar govt College. This college is one of the best colleges in West Bengal
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I'm pursing is 3 year degree honours in chemistry, this course has some scope in job purpose. This course consists of 3 annual exams in each year. A total of 1400 marks exams are attend by a student in this 3 years.
Internships Opportunities
No, our college doesn't provide any internship, in any of the course, that can be pursued here. As it is a degree college for honours subject it doesn't offer any internship. So there is no matter of stipend that can be given by college.
Placement Experience
The college doesn't directly give any placement, as no such campusing or anything like that is not organized at our college. Student who have completed their graduation from krishnagar govt College get the Job opportunities by giving the job exams and etc.
College Events
There are many events that are performed or celebrated in our collge. The college celebrated the national holy days, i. e independence & republic day with great enthusiasm. The college also arrange saraswati puja, annual cultural programme, annual sports etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As the college is Govt sponsored, the fee structure is feasible. The student have to pay a feasible amount as the fees, also the fee is refunded in case of economically backward students. Students who are very poor can study here free of cost by submitting proper evidences.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college doesn't give any loan facility. But the college offer various scholarships that are sponsored by govt. The college offers Inspire, Swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship, kanyashree scholarships etc. I avail SVMCM scholarship from the college.
Campus Life
The labs of this college is facilitated with various modern apparatus. The college supports various extra curricular activities of students. The college arrange sports every year. The college students also participate in state level, and represent Kalyani university several times in state and national level.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is allover good. The college have two hostel, that can accommodate a large number of students who come from far places from the city. The hostels have proper electric and water supply, also it have free Wi-Fi service.
Alumni/Alumna
The college have a well established alumni network. An alumni association is present. The alumnis are helpful and they also suggest the good things for the college. Senior students of the college are helpful.
Exam Structure
Right now there are two exam structure working in our college, one is the old 3 year degree honours system that consist of 3 annual exams in each of the year. And other is CBCS system, that is particularly the semester based system.
Admission
At first you have to fill up the online form from college site, after release of the results of higher secondary, or equivalent exams, then college will publish provisional merit list for each and every honours subject respectively, then, the students are selected according to the list.
Faculty
The faculty of Krishnagar govt College are very much helpful, generous, and co-operative, they help the students in gathering the knowledge about their subjects. They also lead the students to participate in seminars and lecture workshops.
