OVERVIEW OF NIT BHOPAL

I had choosed B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering , the 1st year is common for all branches and then from 2nd year onwards we are taught of our branches. Fanacy packages (62 lpa highest in ECE) of this branch with its boom in upcoming future i choose ECE here in MANIT. There are almost 6 branches in Btech here. The course is in accordance of the latest technologies and labs are equiped with rare and expensive machines. Teaching methods can be improved by having alternate weeks to practice and learn. Exam are frequently organized so that students are always ready, they happen in each month, the level is moderate to difficult.

Intership opputinities in manit are great almost each society organizes workshop for your intersest to guide you through industry experts. Conferences are also organized for interships. In 6th sem there is summer internship and you can also get ppo here.

Placements of my college are amazing in 2024 highest package in cse was 82 lpa whereas it was 62 lpa in ece department. The average is also good in ECE being 19 lpa wahereas it is 25 lpa in cse. NIT Bhopal provides both internship and placements opportunities almost 250+ companies visit manit each year and has a nice placement. This year 66% placement in ECE

Fees details of MANIT bhopal are as follows for a hostler in 2024 for 1st semester and then same for all other 8 semesters. 1st sem:1)hostel caution money(refundable)=5000. 2) Hostel charge=7500 for double, 10000 for single occupancy. 3) Tuition fees=20834, caution money(refundable)=5000 4)one time fees=8600 , student activity fees=8400. total of 63334 in 1st sem for obc and then 44734 in all other semesters. In 2nd semester all other fees except caution money and all one time fees.

When it comes to infrostructure MANIT do-not lack in any aspect it has 11 big hostels and each is in perfect condition , the older hostels are being renovated and when it comes to departmental buildings we have a very big department buildings with proper labs.

Hostels are great we have a very big room with proper facilities. We are provided a table and chair , cupboard and a bed. Any complaint is also resolved fastly. When it comes to mess its food is better than average , but nasta is always tasty, very very tasty. We are daily given nasta with sprouts, milk and a banana . We are provided evening snacks that too are tasty.

I had also applied to nit delhi and was getting it as well but has choosed nit bhopal because it is more popular than nit delhi , also nit delhi is a new college and MANIT as compared to it has a greater and better aluminai network and the other basic facilities are also goog in MANIT than nit delhi

All the profesors are highly qualified they have on an average experience of 20 years. Almost all are big names in their fields , all had published research papers and are listed in google scholars. My physics teacher Mr piyush patel is in top 2% scientist of the world and has published many research papers and had mentored many international students in higher degrees. And maths teacher organizes tutorial classes which are meant to practice only. Faculty to student ratio is also good , almost 1:20 . No lack of faculty , they are always there to help you. Exam system is also good, there are 3 exams in each semester , 1st mini-test of 10 marks, 2nd mid term of 20 marks , and 3rd end term of 40 marks with 30min, 60 min and 120 min as their timing respectively in 2024. There are 5 subjects and each of them have labs and 1 elective which we have to choose.

Night life is amazing for 2nd year onwards, 1st year boys are not allowed for sometime to roam around, buut after it everything is awesome. There are night canteens in each hostel and food is available in night also.
