Course Curriculum Overview
Some subject are fully based on lab work only and whatever faculties teach during lab hours you will definitely apply in your work place . But yes, some lab have lacking in instruments and chemicals. You will get much time for study before the exam so no need any mini vacation or reading holidays.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. But in our field only few companies are visited and that are also with low package so I recommend not to choose microbiology if you are not interested in doing phd.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee in Marwadi university for Bsc microbiology is 26,700 and it include lab fee, tuition fee, development fee etc. At the time of admission you will have to pay 7000 extra as a deposit which you will get back at the time of graduation if you are not interested in their placement programs. They provide government scholarship for those student who got 80% in 12th std, otherwise fee will be same for all category of student either they are from general,st,sc or obc.
Campus Life
Campus of Marwadi university is worth living. Students are roaming from classes to canteen, some of them are from library to garden. The cafeteria, lounge,auditorium and common area are full of students. Every year there are celebration of women's day, international science day, various festival like holi, diwali , janmastrami . We also have kite flying competition, MU fest where different celebrity singer came and sang along us.
Admission
In our schooling era ,the faculties used to introduce different colleges in our city. So from there i choose to get degree from Marwadi university only. So i choose only and only Marwadi university. And if we talk about admission process, you will only need your 12th marksheet, leaving certificate and birth certificate. No need to crack GUJCAT and NEET. There is no admission exam or any other hurdles
Faculty
Some faculties are so polite by nature. Some are so harsh. But yes it also depend on students like how we approach and respect them. Most of the faculties have done phd and have very good knowledge regarding the subject. Some of them gave a live example of it so you can understand easily. In one year you will have 3 exams - Mid semester 1 - Mid semester 2 -Final semester Mid semester 1 are comparatively easy than mid sem 2 and final sem. From 100 students, rarely 5-6 students fail to clear the exam. Otherwise everything is soo good
Night Life
Most favourite hangout place is lake area. Some are clicking snaps , some discuss about there projects and exams . Some of them are munching and interact with each other. We also have tea post, monginis and a huge mess. We have gym area, dancing and singing area. Have 2 huge libraries. If you want to go outside from campus you will need your id card. Otherwise locality is safe
