Course Curriculum Overview
I want to do CMA US. That's why, I chose B.com (hons). The 1st year syllabus is similar to 11th and 12th of commerce. Previously, B.com was of 3 years but now according to NEP, B.com (hons) is of 4 years. You can leave after 3 years but you will only get the degree of b.com programme. For honours, you will have to study one more year.
Internships Opportunities
Our college has a contract with Internshala, so, most of the internships are offered ny internshala. Recently, a lot of opportunities are arising inthe fields of finance, human resources management, marketing, etc.
Placement Experience
From 6th sem afterwards students become eligible for campus placements. The companies that usually visits our college are TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Capgemini, wipro, Cognizant, etc. Currently, I plan to pursue MBA in finance after getting degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am from general category and I come under the regular fee of bhu ,so, I pay ?10300 per year whereas the students who comes under paid fee, pays ?35300 per year. There are a lot of scholarships available for students. Recently, under U.P scholarship ?10000 would be deducted from the fees of the students.
Campus Life
I am really enjoying my college life here. There were many freshers party which were held like Aarambh, Sangam,etc. There are a lot of opportunities for students who wants to participate in sports. I am a Table tennis player and BHU offered me the opportunity to pursue T.T further.
Admission
I applied to DU, BHU and Pondicherry University. I got into all of these colleges. But still I chose B.H.U as total cost of it is much less than the others and I have always wanted to stay in banaras. In DU, the tuition fees is less but the accomodation cost is high.
Faculty
Faculties are really great. They will always help you out no matter what. There are total 2 exams total:- Internals(which consists of 30 marks) and externals (70). The exams are not difficult. It falls between easy to moderate.
Night Life
I like to visit the ghats. There are 80+ ghats here in Banaras. It's really nice to have a walk at the ghats. There are a lot of famous cafes in Assi ghat. And Ofcourse the famous ganga aarti, one can't miss that.
