First year is generalised for all branches and everyone studies the same subjects. Currently I am in the first year and few subjects like Biology and Biology Lab are something that I found irrelevant.

Internships are provided in 2 cycles: PS1 and PS2. Stipends are offered in PS2 only and generally students get a PPO during PS2 (PS stands for Practice School). Many MNCs offer internships with stipends during PS2 and there is a dedicated placement cell for this purpose.

There are 2 internship opportunities: PS1 and PS2. Students become eligible for PS1 after completion of 2nd year while they become eligible for PS2 in the 4th year. Students get stipends during the internship in PS2 and generally get a PPO during it only. Average package is around 20-25 lakh p.a.

Semester-wise tuition fees: 259000 Registration fees: 53425 Hostel and Miscellaneous fees: 22000 (per semester) Scholarships available are: Merit Scholarship and Merit-cum-need Scholarship in which upto 100% tuition fees is exempted.

Campus life is awesome here. There are lots and lots of clubs and departments to join for students. Most of these are student run so it's a fun and enriching experience. There are sports teams that compete across the nation with various colleges. There are no hostel restrictions so people prefer to do the club work at night and generally pull all nighters doing something they love and enjoy. Great campus with great infrastructure.

The facilities provided in the hostel rooms are: a bed, a study table with compartments and drawers, an almirah with a mirror, shelves on the walls, fan, tubelight, electrical sockets, and windows. The rooms are very good to be honest. Meals provided sometimes are not upto the mark.

BITS Pilani is a reputed college and is a disciplined place. While the other colleges were infamous for either the discipline or the infrastructure. My college provides hostel services to all students and there are no day scholars. There is a zero attendance policy here at BITS.

The faculties are highly qualified professionals. Student faculty relationships are very healthy and the interaction is frequent. There are frequent quizzes and a mid- semester exam along with a final comprehensive exam. These are moderate to difficult. A few students fail to clear the exam.

The campus in-time is 10:30pm and thus people prefer to visit a nearby beach in the evening and return by night. The night at the campus is pretty happening because general body meetings of clubs take place at night in which the club collectively have fun and simultaneously work together. NAB is the most beautiful place to see at night in the campus. The Grand Spine looks like we're living in a resort. The campus is completely safe at night and one can roam around freely.
